IKR it is so gross. I hate wood trim. Yea I just nipped out with my phone so that is why they are verticle

 

you can turn the phone 90 degrees and it will take pictures in the correct orientation for anything that is wider than it is taller.

that's pretty much all i see vertical pictures being acceptable for.

buildings, maybe vacation photos of people, and for angering others on the internet.
