Week 2 Event: Green Coast

As suggested by needcraft, our next race will be at the beautiful Green Coast Racetrack, by Jaikku and Dummiesman.

The car we will be using is the Hirochi SBR4.

The rules for this event are mostly the same.

RULES:
1. You must use the Green Coast scenario.
2. To get your time to officially count, you must post a screenshot of the end scenario time or a video of your run.
3. No vehicle or engine mods can be used on your car. YOU CAN ONLY USE PARTS FROM THE BASE GAME.
4. For this week's event, any tuning is allowed. HOWEVER, ESC IS NOT ALLOWED. You may use ABS if you wish.
5. You can only have one time on the leaderboard. If you get a better time, it overwrites your old one. Feel free to keep trying at it!

The event will end in one week on 8/11/16 at 23:59.59 EST.

So are we going to do 2 laps or only 1? And which SBR4 are we going to use

 

First one so far, still have to touch the suspension in terms of adjustments.

Hey guys i just joined this group becuase i saw it in the whats new section and was interested in time attacking in BeamNG.
Anyways i just did the scenario and the best time that i got was a 2:25.91 with a untuned, unmodified hillclimb SBR4 with no ABS and the traction and stability control taken off. Lap done with an xbox one controller an a slowish laptop.

Yeah, sorry about that. I used my ipod to take the photo and was about to go to sleep so i didnt have time to do it on my laptop. I'll probably try and beat my time later on today as i like to be as fast as possible.

First attempt, still pretty slow

 

I can't do it. when I complete a lap, the checkpoint stays at the finish.

 

Happened to me on a few good laps, you have to go for dead centre.

Did a few runs, improved my time slightly.

I'm now second on the leaderboard after spending about 30 minutes behind my screen try to beat my previous records. my final time is a 2:20.29 seconds. 3 hundredths of a second faster than randy. the car that was used was the stock hillclimb variant with no ESC as the rules specify, but I took off the doors and hood for a bit of weight reduction and upped the rear track width, that is all.

 

Man, damn close I regret nothing, cause I did my time within 4 tries. I really have to get me more free time to attack @Instant Winrar

 

it took me about 11 or so tries to get that lap but its that high because lap 2 wouldn't start when I went past the finish line and a couple times id adjust the tune and the car would be messed up.
