lowkey the interior should be revamped to be a bit higher quality and modern

 

I don't know if anyone else has this problem since 0.33, but when I spawn a bus, I get an error thats say the mod might be old or broken, or files could be damaged. I can't do anything to control the vehicle, so it doesn't even start or even brake when rolling. I tried to clear the cache, update all my mods, and even reinstall the mod, but with no success. So now I'M asking if this mod is going to have an update soon, or can I fix this problem myself?

Edit: I noticed I have this error only on the 12m (DT40L) variant.

 

I've also noticed another issue that's been shipped with the .33 update. It's not specific to this mod, but I have noticed it happens occasionally when I spawn buses from it. Any mod that includes changing the doors is also broken but differently; they'll usually spawn and drive normally, but the doors will make an air-releasing sound and half-open by themselves; they can be opened fully (albeit slowly) but will not shut fully if forced to shut fully they will re-open to be half open (again slowly). Hence, it seems there's been a change somewhere to the bus door air-pressure system (or just the bus door system) that has broken those mods that way.

Though I can confirm, I also have the outdated mod warning when spawning buses from this pack (I have only tried to spawn DT40Ls so far), which disables all controls when trying to use a bus from it.

Me too. IDK if the author is working to fix it, we haven't heard abot him/her in a LONG while.

 

Please guys, the mod is already set to outdated. I know it's broken. Just wait for a fix.

That's the thread which I unfortunately don't have ownership over. If you go to "Overview" it's correct.

 

Aw man. Guess we'll have to abandon it, since "Outdated" typically means it won't get worked on anymore because it's not worth the time.

 

I'm the one currently maintaining the mod. It's going to get updated.

Why.... why did you phrase it like that? He literally said "wait for a fix." Stop trying to guilt trip people or whatever it is you're doing.

 

Replies like this one are the reason why I explicitly said "usually". I've found my fair share of promising mods that turn out to be abandoned.

 

Have you tried deleting the mod then manually downloading the .zip and putting it in the mod folder? The mod should not be doing what you described, maybe reinstalling it the way I suggested would fix the issue.

Yeah, he does this normally. If you look at his post history, he does this type of stuff constantly in the T-Series Expansion thread

 

It was such a good mod. But as my brain likes to say, realism and good gameplay rarely go hand in hand

Yeah, well, I was in a bad mood after flunking university TWICE and having to abandon so many good mods that stopped getting updated and broke. It wouldn't have been as bad if i could do anything about it, but autism :v

 

With the Fix that comes is there also a New Variant planned?
