This is a thread for my BeamNG Repository modification for the expansion of the West Coast USA that adds interactable interiors to 70 Houses and other stuff which is available here: https://www.beamng.com/resources/west-coast-usa-house-interiors-expansion.39557/ or on the Repository I will be talking about a BeamMP Integration and how to add custom music to the modification BeamMP Integration syncs up with the server to make the audio and other stuff to sync up so other players could see & hear what the other player does in the house/etc and the system to make it work with BeamMP BeamMP Integration: How to make it work To make the integration work with the BeamMP Server u would need to install "server_manager.lua" Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j72orDqI20BetIc3f4e_s9z2m5pVq3Zw/view?usp=sharing U would have to get a server either hosted on your PC or thru Hosting Websites, for the tutorial, ill be using a hosting website This is the File directory of the server itself [it's the same if hosted directly on your PC] U would have to go into Resources Folder -> Client Folder and put the main mod in there After uploading the mod u now need to go back to Resource Folder and go into Server folder and create a custom folder which u need to do throught the website with "Create Directory" or create it by yourself if u have the server hosted on your PC After creating the directory u would have to enter the folder and put the provided file "server_manager.lua" into the folder and boot up the server [the map has to be set as west_coast_usa_haleson_interiors in the server config! Music: How to install custom music to the modification To add your own music u would need to convert your music file into the .ogg format [it's can be easily done thru the web converters that are free to use or VLC] Then find the zip file of the mod which is named: WCUSA Housing Project After entering the zip file u would have to navigate thru these folders: levels/west_coast_usa/sounds/music/ After finding the music folder u can safely put your music file into the folder and rename it to your liking [the name will be shown in the music app!]
