In the county of Puławy, Poland, the oldest car models on the streets seem to be the VW Golf Mk2, the Audi 80 B3, the Mercedes W201 and the BMW 5-Series E34.

And what is the oldest stuff you see?

The oldest cars I see consist of many 70-80s cars. Impala, mustang and others like those. But recently ive seen 3 or 4 different Porsche 356s. Its very odd. 1956-1956-porsche-356-speedster-3808_3817_969X727.jpg

In Portugal, we bought a lot of japanese cars in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. For this reason it's not uncommon to see old Datsuns and Toyotas roaming the street, mainly the 1200 and the Corolla.

Of course, most of them are not in this great shape. I regularly see these old Datsuns looking like they're about to die, but somehow still making it through their daily life reliably.

A few minutes in Google Maps:

    oldcars1.png oldcars6.png oldcars3.png oldcars2.png oldcars8.png oldcars5.png oldcars4.png oldcars9.png oldcars7.png oldcars11.png oldcars10.png oldcars14.png oldcars13.png oldcars12.png

    Also a lot of these:

I'd say we have a higher than average number of older vehicles compared to the rest of the country. The Chevy Astro/GMC Safari and Pontiac Sunfire are especially common, with the rest mostly being old work trucks. I've seen more Volkswagen T3 Transporters here than anywhere else combined.

Usually, it's late 70's Lancer's and early 80's W123's in the Philippines, but i remember 4 years ago, a laundry shop near in where i live used 2 1978 or 81 Chevy G20 painted in rattle can flat white, it had a rusted exhaust and lots of bondo, also i mostly see 70's Cressida's and Toyota Corona's in my area.

Anti-pollution regulations, traffic restrictions and scrappage schemes took out most of the older vehicles.

Hard to see anything manufactured before the early 2000s: some beaten '90 citycars living their second life as abused workhorses, some occasional "fancy" vintage models, such as Beetles, 2CVs and R4s.

Most frequent sight is the classic FIAT Panda. Some of them are still around, but most are fairly recent vehicles registered in 2001-2002.

People spend so much money on cars here, so old cars either leave the city for little towns and countryside or get scrapped. Some of the cars getting scrapped are in a good condition, nobody just wants them anymore.
So, the oldest cars I regularly see in Tallinn, Estonia as of 2017 are:
BMW E36 and E34, gopniks' cars of choice
Mercedes W210s. Often used as taxi cabs, mostly illegal (operating with no license).
Audi 100 c4. They are reliable and durable, which greatly increases their time of suffering.
Other cars: Opel Astra G, Vectra B, VW Golf Mk4, Passat B5, Mazda 626 (last gen) and 6 (first gen). Most of these cars suffer from rust and malfunctions, but their owners pretend they don't notice that.
Cars like Golf Mk3, Passat b4, Ford Mondeo mk1 and mk2, last gen Escorts, Honda Civic EKs and older Astras, Vectras and Omegas were common just about five years ago, but they have mostly disappeared by now.

I don't understand why people get so worked up over rolling coal. I think cause it's just kind of a thing to hate on it.
Of course I'm somewhat irritated by the extreme causes, but in the same way that I'm somewhat put off when I see a car badly modified in any other way.
I'm usually entertained when I see a mostly stock looking truck rolling coal. I saw an old stock looking one ton dodge rolling coal on the interstate trying to speed up to merge. He was towing a trailer with two cars on it.

    Citroen 3cv, Dyane 6, Ami 8, PEugeot 504, 505, 404, 205.
