Mad as. My car: well........... Nothing. But I might get an old Holden or something (1970's - 80's) then I'm gonna get an RX7 as my second car.
I have a 1979 Pontiac Trans AM and I bought a 1989 Ford bronco XLT today The Trans AM is my restoration project. It was a special order car with the olds 403 v8 backed with a t350 auto, a limited slip diff, and the handling package which includes stiffer suspension,15 x 9 aluminum rims and 4 wheel disc brakes. The only non performance option on it is the T-Tops, it has manual windows, manual locks, and no A/C. I want to restore this to better than new. I just bought the bronco today for 1700 to be my daily driver once I get my license. It is powered by the nearly unkillable 4.9 straight 6 and backed by a 5 speed manual. It is the XLT model so it comes fully loaded with power windows/locks, cruse control, and captian's chair front seats (some of the most comfortable seats I have sat in) I don't know much about it's history except that someone hacked in a stereo, installed a 4 inch suspension lift, with 33 inch tires and it has been sitting for a year. Since it is a bronco it comes with the standard 4WD Hi/Lo transfer case and manual locking front hubs. I have replace the brake lines with stainless steel ones since they blew out yesterday when the person I bought it from was moving it, get a new set of tires because the current set is dry rotted, give it a tune up, change all fluids, fix some rust issues ,and vacuum it out. I want to clean or replace the nice but beat aluminum rims, install side steps, and fix the hacked speakers because they just cut a hole in 2 of the interior panels to fit them and it doesn't look very nice. It came with an extra set of rusty aftermarket steel rims and a nearly rust free set of doors minus the silver paint in the middle.
2013 Impala LT. It's got the 300hp LFX DOHC 3.6 V6. ...Still hoping someone does a proper mod of this car. It would make me really happy.
Volvo V70 1998 2.5l 10v. Awesome car, awesome 5cyl engine, i love the sound it makes, only 144hp/205nm, but its enough.
Wow! Yours is so nice! Where do you buy parts for yours at? I myself just obtained an 86 Saab 900 S and I am having a joyous time trying to find parts for it. Anyways... I am not gonna upload pics now because I am lazy, but if anyone wants to see them I will gladly upload pictures. My cars are as follows... 1995 Subaru Impreza LX Coupe (5spd 1.8L) 1994 Ford F-150 (5spd 300-6) 1988 Ford Mustang (Auto 2.3L) 1986 Chevy K10 (4spd 350ci) 1986 Saab 900 S (5spd 1.8L 16valve... I think... don't know how to tell if its the 1.8 or the 2.0 yet as I have had this car for a very short time) 1984 Chevy Corvette (Auto 350ci) 1983 Chevy K10 (Auto 250ci i6) 1983 Yamaha Seca XJ 650R (Murder machine) 1976 Chevy Corvette (Auto 350ci)
I generally crack out the manual for parts details (a saab 99 manual will suffice for a 900 if needs be). Then google the shit out of the part. Saab forums are useful. I'd recommend getting a spare engine just in case. Gearbox maintenance is a MUST. If that goes, Have fun! Note; AFAIK the 900 came only in 2l, the H-Engine being an uprated B-Engine --- Post updated --- Found out my laptop has an sd slot, have piccs
