Unbolting rusty bolts. That's my life right now.
And when they come off easily it's like an achievement

    What a mess

Dashboard is almost out, just need to get rid of a few cables

And the day ends on storing parts

Depends on what your definition of "paint correction" is. If it's just wax, of course it'll wash off, but a proper polishing should last a while.

    I lied.

Anyway this is the finished product that I forgot to upload.

Wired in a "new" head unit as the old one was trashed.

$1000 to add a second line of rubber down on the road seems like a good deal. Ask me how I found out the clutch needs changing!

But an even better deal is $600 to avoid violent squishy death. This car building thing is getting expensive.

Another set of NB8B rims because why the hell not? Getting harder to find too...

Port polished NB8A (BP4W) head arrived, ready for a hot tank.

GV front lip on, the car as it stands today. Spot of A4 love too because it deserves some!

    More to come.

They aren't the worst I've ever seen. Besides, they actually fit the car pretty well

Yeah meh. Nothing fit a golf Mk1 better than steelies.
I don't see the point of swaping wheels. Especially if they are bigger than the original. The size of the wheels have been study to fit perfecly the needs of the car. If the car doesn't produce more power there's no point in getting bigger wheels.

The number of people who buy ugly wheels before doing any thing else is just stupid.

I can't find a single Golf without ricer wheels.

After people do what they want with their cars. If they want worst gas mileage and more understeer whatever.
