I changed the side marker lights, looks a whole lot better than before. I also joined a local BMW group/meet, so I'm really happy about that.
That's just the standard 'Murican bumper on these cars. I like the fake diffuser on the bottom though.
I was. I just got back. Fucker sold it on me before I got there. 2.5 hour round trip drive for nothing. Tried selling me a VR6 Jetta with a 6-Speed. The Grand Marquis remains.
I got to test drive the silver one today. Words cannot express how well these cars handle. This one had an intake and exhaust on it. 93,000 miles. I'm thinking about buying the black one as it has every option. HID headlights, audiophile package, heated seats, TC, 6-disc CD.
I put my rear door rods in yesterday/today so my doors work from the interior handles now. The first door was an absolute pain in the ass. I came so fucking close to just jabbing the shit out of my rear seat with a flatblade screwdriver. After I figured out what I was doing it wasn't bad though. Had to take the whole latch and locking actuator out of the door, put the rod in and snake it all back in. Then I had to break the rivets for the handle piece so I could turn it upside and around and shit to get the rod into it. The rods I used were from an 01 or something so they're just a little too long, but they work, so whatever. I'm gonna be mad if you sell the Grand Marq.
He's gonna have to come down in price a good chunk. Like. More than a grand. He wants $8200. It KBB's at $6500. I don't think we will be making a deal but, you never know.
Eh. I wouldn't really fault you for selling it. I could see a a boat like the panther platform eventually getting boring. Just know that you'll be back in a panther someday, whether you want it or not. They always come back.
I think the only thing that would entice me back would me a Marauder. Or a very nice 2006-ish Crown Vic LX Sport.
Oh yeah. Those to. First car I ever drove (I was like 5-6 years old) was an 88 Town Car. Someone had a two door 83 Grand Marquis for sale up here for like $2250 not to long ago. 150k on it.
Turns out the black Focus SVT was totaled in February of this year. It only has 20,000 miles on it but hes already asking 2k over book value. While it is extremely well optioned, I'm not taking a loan for a 12 year old salvage titled car. (not that the bank would I bet...) Two new contenders. 2005 Legacy Wagon Limited. Fully loaded but it has a manual. A manual in a fully optioned wagon. Madness. 98,000 miles. Second one is a 2003 Acura RSX Type-S. 93,000 miles. Something is odd about it... He has 3 RSX. This Type-S is the highest option one and lowest mile. It's also the cheapest though.... Sorry about the dealer spam.
You and your expensive car problems ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Wonderful 91 civic in top condition 148k km, manual 1.5. 397 USD. http://www.sauto.cz/osobni/detail/honda/civic/16548435?goFrom=list Or this 95 Vento, very clean, 126k km, 1.9 diesel. 477 USD. http://www.sauto.cz/osobni/detail/volkswagen/vento/16603552?goFrom=list Hell, I'd love to buy all of them, i even have the cash, i just don't have space where to put them. Then there is so much stuff for ranging from "pick up from my garden, free" to 200 bucks with pepers, working and all.
The oil leak in my truck has extended to being more like someone forgot to put the drain plug back in. In other news, I've almost got the Corolla registered. It doesn't leak oil, yay.
