    and there's the catch

the crown vic/grand marquis/lincoln town car is a body on frame vehicle, not unibody

And that's the Crown Vic's catch.

Body on frame has its advantages -cheap to manufacture, cheap to repair, easy to transplant major parts-, but doesn't make as much sense as unibody for passenger cars any more.

maybe not to be in production anymore(at least as normal cars, it works very well for full-sized suv's), but as i've driven and rode in a crown vic/GMarquis/LTownCar many times before, i can say it's as comfortable as a decent couch

The trunks in crown vics look smaller than they actually are.

my '60 falcon was hangin out under a canopy on a rainy day and the canopy had filled up with rain, since the wind had picked up quite a bit, i decided i should probably go do something about the amount of water that was being collected. So i walked outside to dump water off of the canopy, i saw the tear-jerking sight of a metal framed canopy tangled and sprawled over the roof of my Falcon. so much for my brand new paint job -_-

I could probably fit a cow in the boot with a few choice cuts. The whole thing intact if I put the seats down.

    ONTOPIC

Vacuumed it. Thoroughly. Especially the engine bay.

You can probably fit 5 people and a midget next to the spare tire in the back of the Grand Marq/Vics. Three fullsize 225/65/R16 wheels with room to spare.

OT:Looked at my cars... went back online.

    its a really small wagon

    (imported from here)
    unibody hatch

447 l of space in trunk (27,279 Cubic Inches)
1366 l of space if you folf the seats down (83,359 Cubic Inches)
wagon > sedan every single time
    would drive a wagon.
    do drive a wagon.
yeah also its good for hauling wood from the forest and stuff illegal kids into the trunk

That Felicia boot could be even lower floored if not for the spare tyre too. Much better having a false boot bottom for spare tyre than chucking it into the usable boot space I think. There is enough room in the corsa spare tyre storage to keep my wheel jack, jump cables, high vis jacket and a spare tenner for emergency fuel too. Yes it is technically occupying boot volume, but that panel just separating the 2 areas makes things so much neater.

Don't know volume for corsa boot. Not big, but its a little car anyway. Maybe 1 and a half hookers provided you cut em up first, otherwise 1 midget.

But what if you want to stuff alive people into the back of a wagon?
Let's say you have a few live hookers back there, or maybe even a few foreigners you saw standing on the side of the road. They're in the passenger compartment. All that's between you and them is about 5 feet of space.
I'd just get a cattle prod to corral them back into the hatch when they start to wander out, but still.

once there was 10 ppl in the car (same model wagon felicia)
1 driver on the driver seat
2 people on the passanger seat trying not to smack into the gear shifter
    4 on the rear seats
    4 in the trunk

it was one hell of a ride
if i posted a pic of the car in that state slammington would instantly like it because slammed.

But were they foreigners that you were trying to haul back across the border against their will?

I don't like my Audi atm, if I fix one thing, then another thing breaks.

Came home from school last Friday, decided to rev it up a little, up to about 4000 RPM about 3-4 times. Then there's a lot of smoke coming from the engine bay...sigh. Turning off the car, popping the hood and behold, a new oil leak! The oil has run down the engine somewhere where the cambelt is and on to the front engine mount, wasn't in the mood of checking where the oil came from. I recently changed the valve gasket, I did a very good job with that so I doubt it's the gasket that is faulty.
    Guess I'll check it tomorrow...

I really want to buy a Saab

In the pic it does'nt look that big, but being an owner of a Grand Marquis, I can say with 100% truthfulness that it is about 3-4 bodies deep, and 3 bodies wide.

I put some 195/60 R15 wheels in it to prove god knows what to some people on the Internet.

    (imported from here)

They were the biggest wheels I could get for free; get off my dick :(
