The ep3 type r is a fun ride. The fastest ep3 we get in the states is down some 60 hp on the type r with the same displacement engine. If the swap didn't cost another 6 or 7k over my ek9 swap I'd have done the k20a instead. I would tell you to turbo your rsx type s over importing an ep3 however. You'll comfortably put down 400whp without so much as removing the cylinder head. Get a nice turbo kit and get it tuned on k pro and you'll keep up with anything that can be bought for under 200k. Food for thought.

I didn't do anything to my car today. Simply because I'm trying to sell it and buy a sedan.

I painted the outside of my honeycomb grill white to match the car, and then gave her a much needed bath.

    Hello,
This isn't from today, but it's not too old(this Sunday)
The car has been in a garage for around 10 years.
What we did(me, my dad and my cousin) was: check the oil(still liquid :D ), fill radiator, check fuel pump(we had suspicion it's not working), install a battery, unlock steering wheel(no keys, we had to "steal" it- using a screwdriver and keys from Moskvich) and clean the ignition distributor.

It started from the second try(turn of the screwdriver :D )

We drove it to my uncle's house to wash it, that's where the pictures are from.

    Sound:
It has two speakers in the back and a Kenwood radio.

Plans for the future: (not in order)
    1. Swap the engine(65hp isn't quite enough for city or motorway)
    a. BMW M42
    b. Mazda MX-5
    c. Fiat Twin-Cam 1600
    d.(the one I really want) CA18DET
    2. Repair bodywork: it has rust on all body panels, but nothing scary
    3. Add A/C
    4. Improve brakes( discs and calipers from Alfa 146)

And had summit racing single chamber street/strip mufflers as well as magnaflow 3.5 inch tips installed recently. looks pretty tough and sounds great.

Next step is to drop it an inch or two.

First coat of wax.. going to need a lot more than this to make the scrapes, dents and pits seem like they are actually paint.

You should do the bumper tuck. You take the screw/bolt things out of the two stock bumper-holder plastic things that hold the bottom of the bumper cover in place, twist them up out of the way, then ziptie the two tabs on the bumper cover up towards the actual metal bumper. It's kinda hard to explain, but it's really easy to do and makes the rear end of the car less fat.

I got an insurance quote for the Merc and (If I do end up buying a shitbox this summer) a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. It came to $128 a month with collision and Comp (hail, animal damage, theft) coverage on the Merc.

It's $115 a year for collision on the Merc and only $15 a year for collision on the Olds.

My friend with the Vic pays over $300 a month for his one car even tho his commute is literally 0.5 miles a day. He was not happy seeing how cheap it is for me to have one car, let alone two.
