    Alot might disagree with me but personally I find showing off your private mods just to reply that they're private is quite selfish. If they're private, why share pictures of them only to make people want it even more? My opinion is, if you're not planning on sharing the mod in the near future and you're posting loads of pictures of the mod, just don't.

    Exactly thats why i get annoyed when they show off a private mod. But they still dont understand you cannot show off one since it's a private mod.

    I don't understand why this is such a big deal. It's literally just a screenshot of a game posted on a video game forum. What is there to argue over? "oh lmao, he has a shitty meshslap car that i don't have bro. since i dont have it, he caint have it". I "leave" for 2 years and come back to crying and whining over something absolutely stupid.

    Nobody ever said that because they don't have it the person who created it shouldn't, we agreed that it's just a bit dumb that people show off their mod, just for them to reveal that it's never going to be released. There's no detailed explanation for it, but the best way to explain it is, the car looks cool, people (including me) do not have the ability to create mods, even if it's a simple mesh slap with a few horsepower value changes, so by them being told they can't have it, it just ends up with one person feeling disappointed, with the other (possibly) feeling smug.

    Posting it in public a private mod just to say 'private' is simply an act of bragging and to gain attention, which is annoying to everybody else.
    Please don't, it will hardly make you the 'cool kid' of the forum, and actually give you a negative look.


    Meshslap is a very subjective term.
    Some people consider them as anything that is applied to an official vehicle Jbeam.
    If so, my Crown Victoria, @thomatoes50's Bitron and several other mods are meshslaps then.
    Even our own official vehicles would be meshslaps, as if they share similar parts with another vehicle, then chances is that is has been copied over with appropriate adjustments.

    If anything, I'd call out the really low-efforts one
    ie. 3D model of a Mclaren/Lambo/nameYourSupercar applied on the Jbeam of a Civetta Bolide / SBR with near-zero (or appropriate drivetrain) adjustments.
    Those are things that are not worth to be downloaded if you ask me.


    So yeah, to answer the title: No thread dedicated to those will happen.
