What do you want in 0.39?

ngl any modern car/truck (NOT SUV pls) would be really nice. something like the new RAMs with the 1500 or even a modern sports car would be really cool

 

The hell do we need a new truck for? Atleast a modern SUV could have a unibody and be different than the roamer. Something like a Range Rover that has an aluminum unibody, modern vehicle functions and styling, and both off-road and on-road sport models

 

The addition of a more modern pickup would definitely give us some fun stuff to play with, such as split tailgates, auto-deploying sidesteps, rear bed steps, heavy duty mirrors that could be flipped out. There's lots of potential, just depends on how much detail is put into the final product.

As much as I hate these things, I have to admit getting one in game would be fun for playing around. However I'm currently not hard-pressed for it. I'd rather see a modern eurovan. But a modern SUV could be fun too. Sadly, the devs said there's no plans to implement hybrid drive as of now. If it were the case, I'd say a car based on the Toyota Land Cruiser would be a solid choice.

 

Land cruiser has no hybrid system, mate.

 

How are any of those things worth making a whole new truck over? And Range Rovers have deployable side steps. Just putting that out there. A truck is a truck. And the D series has more configs than anything else. Let’s fill another niche first

 

Nah, modern SUV and pickup that are built on the same platform. Bothe demographics of vehicles are under represented in BeamNG. We have 3 modern sedans (post 2010) and no modern SUVs or trucks, and an SUV and truck can share a platform if they are American or Japanese.

I am not a fan of either (im a sedan and wagon guy) but those two bodystyles are not represented in BeamNG post 2005.
