It depends on what I'm writing, I dont use any of that proper typing technique garbage. I type everything with any finger, whatever finger is closest is the one that I use in most cases. For the record, I'm one of the fastest typers in my school, I can type without looking at the keyboard, and when I try to at least, I type very accurately. So I guess that what I'm trying to say is I can't vote lol
I changed my vote. I thought, oh yeah. It's the index finger. Easy buisness. Then I actually tried it and found that no. That isn't the case atall. Infact, when typing my left index finger seems to hardly ever touch the keyboard atall. Only really for the letters v and b does it ever seem to. I seem to only really type the letter c with my index finger if it's the first letter in a sentence. Even trying to force myself to use the c key with my index finger feels completly wrong and drastically slows my typing down... This is gonna be stuck on my mind for probably quite a while now...
Mixture of pinkie for reaching far away keys, middle and index fingers for the middle fo the keyboard. Thumbs for the spacebar. I never learned to type properly with all fingers but I've been coding like this for years. So the muscle memory is well set, I type fast enough with few errors and I don't get any RSI's from it. So it's good enough for me.
