One day in 2016, I was browsing some car accident compilation videos, suddenly I saw a CrashBoomPunk's BeamNG video. I was fortunate enough to click and was immediately shocked. The physical effects of reality simulated many amazing crashes, which was the first time I saw this game. I immediately searched for the letters "BeamNG" in the video title online, and then I discovered this new world. I quickly discovered Insanegaz's videos, and I was deeply fascinated by the beauty of these destruction of vehicles. Soon, I also watched videos of CRASH driven, WreckStation, DestructionNation, DragCarTV, ProCrash, and more. That day, I was happy all day. After that, I didn't watch any real car accident videos for a long time, and I have been deeply fascinated by BeamNG videos. It was all these crash compilation channels that got me into BeamNG.
I watch those youtubers too! Anyways, here is how I got into BeamNG: I found some videos by CrashBoomPunk, and Car Pal 3 years ago , about BeamNG, BeamNG mod reviews, and car crashes in the game, of course . When I first saw the game, I really wanted it. So, I got a pc, and I have played the game from April of 2021. to today, (and in the future of course)
I found out about WhyBeAre through his INFRA series. I liked those videos so I checked out what other stuff he had on his channel. And I found a game that really caught my interest, that game being Beamng. Ever since then I wanted the game to play and a couple years later for my birthday my parents bought it for me on steam and I've been playing ever since.
well i have over 1000 hours of playtime in Beamng but i played at least 900 hours played on steam for free (library share option) and i bought beamng at the start of this year. (first time i played beamng on steam was in 2020 or 2021? i guess?)
Awhile back one of Jimmy Broadbent's videos showed up in my recommendations, "Rallying In BeamNG is A LOT Better Than You Think It is" to be exact. I used to play DiRT Rally for years since I've been wanting a rally game that isn't arcade-ish but rather unforgiving. I picked up BeamNG with Automation when both went on sale in July and I gotta say I've been hooked on it. 223+ hours of messing around, doing some of the campaigns, scenarios, trying out the WIP career mode and playing with all the cars and checking out the courses. Pretty good stuff.
Crap i accidentally deleted all my typing Anywasy basically i watched fail races old canyon racing videos as a kid. as a young kid who was obsessed with cars(mainly classic cars) The crashing was cool but what really intriqued me was the fact all the cars had proper drive trains like the cars coming with automatic transmission options tbat were properly simulated accurately(old cars having 3 speeds 90s ones having 4 speeds ect) the fact the suspension was real and the fact all the cars were period correct. like the classic muscle cars having 3 speed auto trans cross ply tires leaf spring rear suspension open diffs i6 engines for the base models and drum brakes. All things the game i had at the time forza didnt do
I started playing right after 0.29, but I discovered BeamNG existed right at the end of 2021. The combination of watching Neilogical, Muye, and one of my friends buying the game inspired me to try it out for my self. I had played DCS World for three or so years at the time, and I had always liked simulators. Absolutely worth 25 bucks!

Whybeare throwing cars at helicopters, all the way back in 2014. It's strange to think that was about 10 years ago now.
