what is the porpose of mulit-seat?

I was playing beamng drive and used multi-seat and wondered what the purpose is for it, is it suppose to be a multiplayer game mode? and is there a split screen option for it?

 

You can plug in multiple controllers, and each will control a different car. There is a camera that lets you see all cars at once, but no split screen.

It's called the multiseat camera. You'll have to enable it through the settings.

 

i looked through the settings there is no multi-seat camera as far as i know unless you have an idea of where the setting for it is.

 

It's only accessible when multi-seat mode is enabled.

@stenyak this might be a stupid question but is it possible to have the game output to multiple monitors and then display a different camera view, each focused on a single car, on each one? That could allow for local multiplayer races rather than just derbies.
