I actually think the Model S is not that bad looking of a car. It's prettier than this abomination. Actually, that's a 1961 model. Here's what the actual 1963 Continental looks like.
Hate the Countach? No, I love it but those 5mph bumpers are the worst it's like lamborghini was making fun of the Americans for having such stupid restictions --- Post updated --- I think with the Model S Tesla has prooven that electric cars don't have to be slow, ugly and/or boring to drive....
Interesting enough, they can get a head start in a drag race. Probably has something to do with their electric engines. When I first saw the Model S, it made me think of Ford for some strange reason. Check out this video.
The PT Cruiser (PT LOSER) What kind of a**hole thought it was cool to put wood grain on the sides of cars. I'd rather drive a prius than this (even though the 2016 design is really ugly) --- Post updated --- This has to do with the fact that Electric motors produce peak torque @ 0 rpm or rather 0.000000000001 rpm
I tell you, the PT Cruiser gets a lot of hate. I will admit, that wood paneling doesn't belong on it, even though it's inspired by older cars. In my opinion, wood paneling worked best with older cars like classic woody wagons and later station wagons like the Ford Country Squire/Mercury Colony Park.
Probably not the "worst" but I hate driving this thing. The only good thing about it is it's ability to lay rubber for about a mile because it's FWD.
It's like they thought... 'Look at that narrow hood at the front, looks a lot like an F1 car and that only sporty car we ever made... Ooooh, and it's a wagon too, but it has less space then a sedan, oh, and did I tell you it has wood trim that we made specifically with our design teams tears? Yes, this car is made of the tears of the Chrysler Design Team...'
These exist for a reason and you can use them to charge an electric vehicle. I would also love to see exact figures proving that electric vehicles are more harmful to build than normal cars because otherwise this is just a bunch of misinformation.
When you realize what Top Gear has become, an unfunny Carshow that's trying hard to be offensive.... The newest episode was quite cool though
Well it will take a long time for all electric cars to be used for renewable energy. As renewerable resources currently used in the US is about 14% of all the energy. Only poiticial powers say that in 30 years, renewable resources will only be 17% of all the United States' energy used. Here is a video with an even better argument.
I'd argue that a large % of electric car owners is more likely to have solar panels installed to charge their cars and those figures are US only, in Europe renewable energy is far more widespread and you see many electric car owners taking advantage of this, it all depends only on where you charge the car from.
