I guess any sort of Samsung phone, definitely not the S9 because thats too expensive or even the S8 model, go for a lower spec Samsung phone and it should do you well!

Well Samsung has a policy of NOT slowing down their phones, my dads old S6 is still working well even his old Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is about 5 and a half years old is working well and I use it (I cleared off about 7GB of his stuff to make it run smoother)

    S3 Neo ftw
    Features:
    • Overkill temperatures
    • Android 4.4 (which is better than newer Android version imo)
    • Battery that doesn't last very much watching videos
    • And a phone included!

Btw, I think an Asus Zenphone 4 is a good choice. Or Samsung :)

By the way, I am currently using 2015 Galaxy J5. Its a pretty good phone, but... but battery life is awful and does not charge as fast anymore.

My dad is gonna take it when I will get a new phone.

For 400€? It's hard in 2018 to recommend the SE, other than if you really need a small factor phone, or really like 2012, it probably won't match your needs, especially considering the battery size.
You have many (Many) good options at this price tag.
The Samsung A5 would be a solid choice for sure.
Though if you want something a bit more exotic I could recommend waiting for the Sony Xperia XA2 (Or XA2 Ultra), it'll cost around the same price as the A5, but should have slightly better specs and for sure a much cleaner OS, Sony is known to use almost stock version of Android. I'm not sure either the A5 will be updated to Oreo. Though if you really want a Samsung you could probably go for a S8, they are getting fairly cheap now.

Though to me your best bet is to wait like a month or 2 and get a One plus 5t.

I like apple devises they re high quality and nice BUT, they are over priced, you cant put more memory into one like you can with a Samsung. I have chosen Samsung over apple and il never go back.

Apple. Not because its Apple, and wanting the brand name, I just like the quality of the PHONES. They are overpriced though. Dont like their laptops tho.

Try the Huawei P10 or the cheaper P10 Lite. It's a nice phone.

It's either you use it incorrectly or you got a crap one from them.
My Huawei P9 Lite is freakin' durable, fell down SEVERAL times, not even a scratch has been done to it.
Pro tip: If you ever considered Huawei, consider ONLY the P-series and the Mate series, they are decent phones. The rest of the lineup is not recommended.
