If those cars aren't being used as hotrods, they're rotting in some rich guy's collection. Pick your poison
My wish list has a bunch of small things: Better light texture for the GTz spoiler on the '88 Pessima PBR for Roamer offroad parts PBR for more interiors Ability to choose different spare wheels/tires on the Piccolina/Roamed roof racks
Let's be honest, No one does not want to see a classic car being left to rot and then scrapped and crushed, Unless it's a video game You know, Look at some videos that some jerks like 21 Motors, Cowboy Car Crushing and 1964Corvan and some others on YouTube, They must be enjoying crushing old cars just for fun. Poor 1956 Ford, Such car like that did not deserve to get crushed by some jerks on YouTube. Hopefully, we can get a 1956 Ford like car in this game in the future. Such a heart breaking thing to see where these rare old cars are just being left to rot and then scrapped and crushed for no reason or crashed or destroyed in real life. If it's in a video game like this game BeamNG.drive, Fine but in real life, it's a huge NOPE! Would you watch a video that would have a 1956 Packard or a old Cadillac from the 1950s-1960s or whatever getting crushed? NOPE
I would like to see no more drop of frame rate when wheels are locking up or when drifting - generally when cars leave tiremarks ....
Imagine being able to do to the car what you want because it really is just a game and there would be as much options to take or leave at will like with any other car in the game. Destruction of history aka modifying a car when it was worthless and due to be scrapped, giving it another life and being the pride and joy to the owner like it never was when it was stock and "just a car". There would barely be more old cars left if there had not been people modifiying them, building there own little dreams out of them, getting a whole generation into cars and motorsport. without that process, we would be in a different situation, not with more preserved cars but especially with far fewer people being into cars because their grandparents did not teach their children about it as they never did anything to their cars, never meeting in the parking lots, never letting their creativity and craftsmenship do wonders, bringing scrap cars back to life. Thank god not everyone is this narrowminded regarding the past generations achievements and effects on the car community to this day.
I hope that we will finally see a hardcore career mode like the Beam Legal Racing modification, and as the icing on the cake, the highly anticipated VR mode
Better Game performance (especially UI) --- Post updated --- EDIT: Also, a Japanese map, with Osaka or Tokyo, and a beautiful touge --- Post updated --- I think realistic Raindrops and mud on car body (for when going in dirt or mud) would be nice if devs add (especially working wipers)
I do agree with this Some classic cars still exist BECAUSE of modifying them I enjoy seeing a hot road because its a 100 year old car given a new life plus a well done hot rod is fucin cool
They do still exist as as long people keep either restoring them or modify them. For me, I rather see a classic car 100% restored to its former glory in stock, I do like hor rods as I rather prefer seeing them stock.
I'd love to see a new vehicle based off of late 1950s to early 1960s American luxury cars, something that represents classic Americana. A vehicle with excess chrome, towering tailfins, a V8 the size of a whale's heart, and a very boaty feel, as I feel it is one of the vehicle types that Beamng is missing. The Burnside Special comes close, but it's not visually extreme enough, and it's lacking a ton of features you generally think of when someone asks you to describe a 1950s American luxury car. Here are some possible candidates: 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 1958 Buick Century 1959 Chevrolet Impala 1961 Chrysler 300G 1957 Chrysler Windsor
I love them all. Say, Why not add a bit of some cars/trucks from the 1920s and 1930s and 1940s? Being a guy who likes old cars, I say these cars you listed deserved to be as mods or better yet in the game officially!
I would like to see the devs undo their damages to old mods and place backward compatibility back on priority. Electric Vehicle mods have been broken due to ignition system changes, and they haven't done anything about it. Same situation with the super and hatch. --- Post updated --- Can't forget the unibody mods as well
Since v0.27 was off-road themed, it would be fun to focus on JDM this time, remastering the Sunburst and 200BX (not just texture improvements, but also adding more body kits), and expanding the RHD settings for future Japanese map additions. I'm thinking in terms of new cars that should be added are cars that are not in the current BeamNG vehicle genre and that can have lots of configurations and parts. for example: taller small cars like the Toyota Corolla Rumion=Scion xB and Nissan Cube, Japanese cab-over trucks like the Isuzu E/F series and other JDM trucks, and FR convertibles like the Roadster and S2000, or early 2000s V6, FR 3-door hatchback coupes like 350Z. These run in Japan, Europe and the US, so you can have both RHD and LHD. Other than that, I am not saying that the Japan map should be added immediately, but it is important to be prepared. Besides cars, there are a lot of things that need to be done in terms of functionality, such as having different car models spawn for each country in simple traffic, or having traffic equipped with EU license plates on the Europe map.
Dear Devs, My wish techniccaly is minor but it would make a great impact on ingame activities. On the Map interface we can create 1 waypoint as a driving destionation. Please make it possible to create additional waypoints. (for example if we hold down Ctrl.) This tiny feature would hugely increase the possible activities, that can be done esspecially in beamMP. We individually could create complex race path that we could race togeather. My fellow Beam friends please wote this up, if you like the idea of this minor change.
