I am most definitely looking forward to the multiplayer! Cant wait to free roam, demo derby and whatever else you guys might have planned! Especially the ability to have collisions with more than a couple cars online/solo without lagging like rigs of rods!
Somehow I guessed you would've said that. I'm looking forward to creating some cars too. Always wanted to try it in RoR, but somehow never got down to doing it Now I hear creating in BeamNG is supposed to be difficulty "-1" compared to RoR. So, yeah, for me it's content creation & the Campaign game mode.
I am looking forward to watching the community grow upon release and, looking at how the tools and engine that these folks have designed from the ground up, give the mod community a brilliant capability of creating high quality releases. I also think there should be some kind of 'BeamNG' approved system, so that folks that want high end stuff don't have to wade through the mountains of 'mods' that are simple texture changes, much like on the ROR repository.
I can say that I am really excited to have found a game that will push my new gaming rig to it's limits. It laughs at RoR now. It crushes Grand Theft Auto 4 on maximum settings without breaking a sweat. So I'm really intriqued at how taxing BeamNG will be. We will find out soon enough I suppose. (Damn school computer's keyboard won't work right...)
The one thing I wish for BeamNG is that it will not be ruined by all the people that ruined RoR. Lets hope vehicles can be locked so nobody can "mod" them in to hiddious stuff. I hope that the forum can stay imformative instead of a big race on how much threads you can have. But then again I can only hope.
A few things, 1. The update in speed WITH better graphics will make the game have more desire than RoR 2. HOPEFULLY, to drive a car straight and FAST at the same time without it inching to the left or right wildly causing it to loose control... 3. Creating mods (hey, look at my alias) 4. NO LAG MP OR SP
Agreed. I hated it when the cars somehow wouldn't drive straight. The lag was also very annoying... The fps in this game doesn't look like a problem though!
EVERYTHING lol, i REALLY cant wait for this, as if i tried to use any of the more hd vehicles in ror(such as mv4 or the mitsubishi suv(forgot the name)), my fps would drop imensly, which sucked as i like to crash everything i add to the game, so hopefully, the rendering of the game will be less intensive, same for physics/cpu load
I am definitely most looking forward to recording, and making some great video compilations of slow motion crashes and insane stunts!! The hours I will put into this game will be crazy. When I was young, I used to film my toy cars crashing into each other, and I owned almost every item of the Crash Test Dummies brand. This game is a dream come true for me Such a simple idea, but it's games like this I end up playing more than triple A titles.
I look forward to: 1. Crash, flip, blow up, and totally destroy cars. 2. Drive peacefully on a road in a tropical island with trees surrounding me, inside a Hirochi Sunburst, cruising around, just relaxing. 3. Ram other people or AI cars inside a Gavril H15!
I'm looking forward to drive normally through the map, then step on the accelerator until I lose control and I crash, and also to drive with my brother and crash each other, but I'm not sure if there will be online or lan features. LAN would be epic
