Where to find the files for recordings

i recorded something, and i know you can look at it through the game menu, but does anyone know where the recording files are? i need it so i can import the video to my editor

There isn't internal video recording, when you "record" with ALT+R it saves a game-engine file you open with the replay app to replay what you just recorded at different speeds/cameras/ect. but that file will only work in the game. The files are saved to "Documents/BeamNG.Drive/replays, to view them in-game there's a file browser in the replay app.

To get a video you can import in to editing software you'll need an external recorder to capture the screen as you play the file in the replay app in the game.

OBS, Playclaw, Bandicam, AfterBurner, NVidia ShadowPlay, Radeon ReLive can all record, and there's others. It's worth at least trying NVidia ShadowPlay or Radeon ReLive depending which video card you have, they typically offer slightly increased performance with a hardware encoder.
