    And what are you gonna swap them to? A N/A SR20 from Primera? Are you sure that SR20DE=SR20DET?
    The only transverse engined Nissan that's worth something is the Sunny GTi-R

    AWD cars are best at cornering. FWD cars corner better than RWD cars when driven by inexperienced drivers (which, most likely, includes you as well). If you still believe RWD cars are best, then get ready for another fact: engine position doesn't define which wheels are driven. For example, many modern Audis have longitudinally mounted engines, yet are FWD.
    What if I told you both of these were mounted in both ways?

    About the fact: I know that. Olds Toronado is another example. But can you find any other manufacturer that does that(except VAG and some exotics)
    The transverse and longitudinal SR20DE are quite different.

    Yeah, it was in such obscure cars as all pre-9000 Saabs, all FWD Subarus except Justy and kei cars, Citroen 2CV and derivatives, LN/LNA, Traction Avant, DS/ID, CX, SM, Renault 4, 5, 6, 12 (plus Dacia derivatives), 15, 17, 21 and Fuego, GM E-Bodies (minus early Buick Riviera) and the classic Mini.

    Rare.
    There are still SR20DET swaps.

    The classic Mini is transverse.
    Citroen can't make cars(bad engine, rust, suspension issues and electrical problems).

    A fan of Ladas should be the last one to complain.
    If Citroen managed to stay afloat for such a time, they surely know how to make cars. And they have proved it multiple times, by introducing hydraulic suspension for example. The same suspension you're complaining about. Some cars have it, some not, but all cars with it are equally prone to breakdowns.

    No, torsion suspenion is the problem. If I'm not mistaken, cars like the Xsara have it.
    As for what I am fan of, the fuck's your problem? - What's the problem with Ladas? RWD, light, strong suspension, strong chassis, engine is simple, not the most reliable, but easy to maintain.

    Then what fuck is with French cars? Comfortable, charming, cheap to buy and repair, often powerful.
    As for Ladas- aside what @MrAnnoyingDude already mentioned, rear wheel drive is pointless for most people and not all Ladas are RWD, engines in comparable Western cars are just as simple, chassis is nowhere strong:
