Why was my "Bruckell Legran, but it's a russian mod" inappropriate?

I'm American and I hate SJWs most people do from what I see

 

I think that your right, but it is an actual russian mod, made by someone who is russion, it isn't mean to say someones race, but it is 2017 and anything is possible these days.

 

I'll be at my laptop in about 45mn, please keep the discussion civil and polite until I am able to download the mod so this thread doesn't get deleted too =P

 

The difference between those shady mod websites and the BeamNG forums is that we actually have moderation, even if the mods are a little bit over-zealous at times.

If the author of the mod is russian, good for them; people who can have a laugh at their own expense are generally the most chillest of dudes. However, this one person still isn't representative of the entire russian community.

Though I disagree with the mods taking the russian LeGran down, I can understand why they might have done so.

 

They are separate vehicles and I had no problems with the normal Legran.

This seems the most likely explanation to me, and it will remain such until/if a moderator says otherwise. But if it's true, I could probably reupload it as "Bruckell Legran, but it's a badly made mod from a 3rd party website".
To me, certain forum members going "OHHH IVAN LOCHCOV THE TERRIBLE IS UPON US" whenever a russian member with questionable common sense and grammar shows up, looks much more offensive.

I think @Slammington nailed it. There's only so much thrashing of "russians" that can or should be tolerated. This is a civility
and respect issue people. I'm personally sick and tired of it. Let's change it up and go after the trolls pretending to be Russian
thieves.

 

Then instead of calling it a russian mod, call it a poor quality mod.

ex: Bruckell LeGran but it's a poor quality mod

I mean, obviously @Ytrewq is not implying that all russian people are bad. However, some of them like to steal certain things from the forums and reupload to their websites.

I don't think it should be removed just for the fact that the title says it's a russian mod. If it was removed due to the title, why haven't other posts blaming russian people for stealing mods been removed because that's rather more insulting than the title of this mod. Maybe censorship, idk.

I think his mod is funny and witty as hell. His creativity isn't the issue whatsoever. It just happens to exacerbate an already ridiculous
situation that doesn't need any more "exacerbating". In fact, the wit and creativity involved here probably garners more respect from
"Russians" than the droves of one dimensional dolts always hollering "OOMAAGAWD IT'S THE GODAMN RUSSIAN THIEF GARBAGE SHIT CRAP AGAIN!!!!!"

I honestly really like this mod. I think if the word “Russian” was removed it might have been able to stay. Maybe we should get a dev to explain?

 

Maybe the devs are staying out of it because they know any explanation involving "bein' mean to Russkies" will create a giant thing about PC and censorship.

That’s ridiculous! I had viewed the thread just yesterday, saw absolutely nothing inappropriate about it, and I love the idea! I, also, have had a thread removed for no explained reason. I’d say you should put up a fight for your mod.
