ive just got this laptop and noticed when playing beamng drive in fullscreen it lags (fps is at 30/40 yet the everything lags(not the usual lag like 5/10 fps)
when i exit full screen its gone...
    nothing changed
    same fps..
same resolution (full screen is in native 1920x1080)
heres a video of the problem

sorry for the akward recording solution... screen records dont really show it
specs of this laptop is fully capable of running beamng drive
    i7
    16 gb ram
dedicated 2gb videocard (see screenshot for details)
the lag isnt comming from hdd delays
the game is installed on a seperate 32 gb ssd (no pagefile or other applications located on that drive
windows is installed on another ssd (500 gb evo )
rest of the steam libary is installed on a seperate 1 tb hdd

Ugh... I have no idea what could be causing that, but could try turning on v-sync ingame & see if it helps?

Hmm.. That is a pretty weird issue
I doubt this will be much help, but, are your video drivers fully updated? You could also try reinstalling them too, to see if that helps any. Sorry that isn't the most helpful advice..

It isn't a driver issue since I've noticed this happening on both igpu and dgpu (igpu even ) more

    Sorry for the music

hmm i have a feeling this is a case for the developers... since this issue only happens inside beamng drive and no other games at all..
even after a windows reinstall it keeps happening

Is it possible for you to try connecting the laptop to an external monitor?? I don't know what it'll really tell us.. But it might be good to know if it happens on all the screens it connects to, or just when it's using it's own screen.

Seems like a problem with your monitor itself / laptop display
Especially since it doesn't happen if you record the game directly.

You can see it in recording . Just more difficult because of the fps i use during recording.. I'll make a example when i get home .

Almost seems like there is other software on the computer that is effecting the full screen beam. Maybe to do with the UI because it is like a web browser?
Something beam does different than other games + something else on the computer, but what that is I am not sure.
Could the beamng call any weird codecs or some other weird thing if other software in the pc thinks its a browser because of the UI devs?

What i7 do you have exactly? Because you just wrote "i7" but not more than that... Also, did you try enabling v-sync ingame?

I'd blame the CPU not being able to keep up... Usually these very tiny freezes can happen when you run GPUs in SLI, but as you don't have that... It may be the CPUs fault OR maybe it's the GPU in the end, not being able to keep up with the load of the game o_O

I cannot view your pictures for whatever reason, can you tell me exactly what graphics chip and processor is in that computer? And/or give me the laptop model.

Check to make sure it is not running on integrated cpu graphics somehow when fullscreen. If it is not that, then I do not think that graphics chips has enough memory bandwidth for 1920*1080. The memory bandwidth for that thing is really really low by any standard, not good enough for full res gaming. My ancient gtx 285 graphics card I've got sitting around somewhere has almost 100GB/s more bandwidth than that thing. Weak link of the whole system.
