You should make sure the PC has a page file enabled (they usually do).
Yes, I tell you to upgrade, because I have 22 years of PC and PC hardware experience. Got into it in the mid 90s (94).
If you are fine with how it runs, that's good, but when you get sick of crashing, and don't want to break the Windows installation on that computer (you'd have to put the setup disc in if the machine fails to start) because of frequent BSOD's... give it a little more ram. Even another 2gb stick will do a world of good. Optimum performance with this software comes with 4gb or more of ram. 8gb is better but not everyone can afford it. Ram is super-cheap. Just look up the type of ram you have - there's a sticker on the ram chip, plug those numbers in to amazon, or your favorite search engine. Match the Mhz speed, the voltage (MOST IMPORTANT), and try to get one that looks the same, by the same manufacturer. Usually Corsair or Crucial, or even Kingston memory works just fine in most OEM systems.

I built a PC with 2gb of ram in ... 2004? That was plenty then, but it's not 2004 anymore, heck, I don't even think it's 2005 anymore is it? When did this happen? I remember letting the dog out sometime that year, I wonder what happened to it??? *walks away confused*

Blue screened because I had beamng and chrome open. honestly, beamng drive seems to run fine with 2gb ram. Right now, I have chrome and beamng drive open, right now, replying to you with the game open.
