    Thanks a lot! Its quite useful (I might work on porting over one of my better vehicles).

    Soon enough I will make a total converter,
    e.g. will take a whole truck file and convert it to .jbeam ;)

    That'd be awesome, .jbeam makes me run and hide in fear, .truck seems to be better for the not-so-technically-inclined.

    ooo, cant wait for that, do you also have plans to make a mesh converter as well? would love to have some old vehicles from ror in beamng, such as my fave, the classic ford club by gabester

    Just convert the mesh to .mesh.xml and import it into 3DSMax or a supported tool export as DAE for mesh conversion.

    Sorry about the site guys I am trying to retreive the files that were on the server, I don't have such a recent copy but I have working ones, I'll contact the hoster ASAP

    well blender support that .mesh.xml thing? or is there a plugin i'd need, if so, link?

    and also, that sucks about the website failing, did the host have an hdd crash, or did you forget to pay it or something like that?

    how do i convert to .mesh.xml, or is it just as simple as renaming it? as i just downloaded a trial of 3ds max, and renamed a mesh to make it a .mesh.xml file, it didnt import anything (why must this be so complicated) and if it just rename it, is there something i have to do to import it?

    You have to use the OgreXMLConverter

    any specific options i should use? (and what do i do if its a multi-mesh vehicle? like there's a mesh for each every little thing)

    Don't tihnk so just drag the MESH fiile on to the converter and you'll get the .MESH.XML from it

    just tried that, nothing shows up in 3ds, anything specific i have to do in 3ds? or should i jsut be able to select the file, and click import (also, what should i do if its a multi-mesh vehicle?)
