I'd rather we have to wait for it to be truly complete before release, unlike a certain other mod that was supposed to have a post release update to finish it up and never did. I love how this mod looks and am willing to wait until Miss Flapper is ready to release it fully completed. Remember, it's better to wait for a complete mod then for an update that will never come.

Hi, I've been helping with some of the jbeam for this thingamabob. Admittedly, I had no clue there was a thread for this. Oops.

We've mainly been focusing on bug fixes and making whats in-game more period-accurate, and adding basic support for stuff like career mode. The current plan is to have a public release for the 1927-1932 streamlined body variant within the next month or two; the earlier cab models aren't really fit for beamNG currently and need to be redone.

This has largely been a collaborative effort to make, and things changed a bit the last few months ontop of us being new to modding, so that's why it has been taking so long. It should (and already is) be a pretty fun vehicle to mess around with, though.

yo mister very stupid time comsuming question but better then never asking.... it woukd be very cool if you would make some kind of bus of it, on the bed some kind of bus cab where people can sit! rll happy you make this mod thx bye

This vehicle was made by the Hank Truck Company between 1912-1932. It received a new engine and multiple style upgrades through the years.

FAQ:

Is it paid? No.

Will there be war configs? Yes, there will be a ww1 config

Will there be hot rods? No. The only aftermarket parts will be period.

How big is it? It is T series size, as this is a semi truck.

When will this be released? Soon. Some content will be added post release in updates.

Lore:
The Hank Truck Company was opened by Ben Howe, Julius Hank and John Faddsworth in 1872, Pittsburgh. They started out making horse-drawn freight wagons.
Their first model was a wooden-framed freight wagon, with the only metal parts being the bolts and bands around the wheels. At this time, they were all made in a large blacksmith shop. In 1879, the Hank Truck Company moved out of the backsmith shop and into a proper facility that let the company ramp up production, which led to its sucess.
In 1912, Hank Truck Company had introduced the Model 8, which came in 3 variants. The 3.5 ton, a 6 ton, and a dual axle 8 ton. In 1915, the Hank Truck Company had contracted Bertha Sheet Steel Company to build Model 8 based omnibusses. In 1920, the Model 8's wooden cab had been replaced in favor of a new sheet metal cab. Bertha Sheet Steel Company was bought out by Hank Truck Company in 1926, and their plants now produced all new Hank bodies. In 1927, Hank introduced a syling system revolutionary for trucks of its size; a streamlined design. In the same year, the T head engines were swapped with flatheads, and a six cylinder option was introduced. In 1929, the Hank Truck Company had introduced the Model 9, a truck with the same styling as the Model 8, but with a larger engine and stronger chassis. It came in 8 and 10 ton capacities. In 1932, the Model 8 was cancelled in favor of the Model 9, which was redesigned the same year.

So far most everything is done model wise, except some period aftermarket parts (There will be no modern parts, or hot rod configs), and uplifts. This was inspired by various trucks and cars of the era (International, Faegeol, Oldsmobile, GMC, Chevrolet, El Car) and has no real basis. Model and textures by me, Jbeam by Tadfafty, Joobles, FuriousFox25, sr, and me, art direction by Tadfafty, sound by ToastyPhoenix.
