Hi, I've loved the game in theory, just not gotten it for a while. I've recently gotten the opportunity, so I'd like to ask if my specs would work. My list:

    8gb of Ram
    A core i3-3120 @ 2.4Ghz
(I think this is my GPU... [I suck with computers]) Intel HD Graphics 4600

Well...... please respond if you need anything more! I really just want to know if I can play the game! Thank you anyone who took their time to read this!

Your computer would be able to run it, but it would probably run at 5-10 FPS on lowest settings. Gridmap would be the best map to play FPS wise, as it would do about 20 FPS on your pc.

They say that Intel graphics cant run the game, however, if you have a setup like mine, you can, at about 15 FPS, or 35 FPS on Gridmap. It really depends on your ram, which you have enough of, and your screen, mine being an old TV at 720p.

    My Specs
    i7-6500U @2.50 GHz
    8 GB Ram
    Intel HD Graphics 520

You can run the game. Not with a lot of FPS, but can.

I think you can be able to reach at least 30 to 40 FPS, running at 1280x720 with low settings and shadows disabled.

I used my Intel HD 4600 for a time but on an I5-4690K also I played in one of my other systems an FX-4100 and integrated Radeon HD 4250, and the game got at least 30 with extreme low settings

Assuming you got a older-gen i3, usually you can't overclock an older i3, so it's better to get something like a GTX 950, GTX 960 or somehow. Getting a higher-end card is not recommended, as you might expect bottlenecks.
It's better to upgrade you CPU, motherboard and RAM first. Also, GPU prices are not in the good condition right now.

We also are assuming that you have a desktop PC, if not, you cant upgrade your GPU, due to space restriction and connector diffferences.

Alright, thank you everyone who has responded. Ive realized I should probably get a new computer..... (my current one is a laptop) and I am about absolutely sure that my new pc I'm gonna build will work with Beamng.drive and games with equal intensity. My specs I'm getting for anyone wondering:
    i7
    8gb ram ddr4
    GTX 1060 6gb

Thank you anyone who tried to help me!

I also Have a laptop. I get around 30 fps on official maps (on lowest settings with grass and shadows disabled. Texture quality is on max though I can't deal with blurry liveries and instrument clusters.) but my lack of RAM will make loading times very long and freezes the game for 1-10 seconds (on maps with lots of detail and trees). It did crash my game once and gave my a RAM error code. And the UI seems very unresponsive even when I'm on maps that give me 50 fps, I would assume that my lack of RAM issue too.
    Here are my specs.
    6 GB of RAM
    i3-7100U @2.4GHz
    Intel HD Graphics 620.
Like I said above it isn't ideal but it is playable as long as you sacrifice a little quality, until you can get a better computer. And with you having 8 as opposed to my 6 GB of RAM you shouldn't have as much issues as me.
