The whole NFS series was ricer-based, every bodykit looks like a 2-year old's drawing and the driving is like used soap from prison.
No, it wasn't. Take NFS 1, 2, 3, High Stakes, Porsche Unleashed, Hot Pursuit 2, and Hot Pursuit 2010. Those are some of the best and feature paint customization only (Except high stakes that features upgrades, but those are stripes for engine upgrades, different wheel colors for wheel upgrades and a body kit (Using the term lightly, as it's only a splitter and a spoiler usually. Not anything stupid like underground) for aero upgrades).
Asphalat 8....ever since i play BeamNG, any other game suddenly becomes stupidly unrealistic --- Post updated --- TDU2 isn't too bad. It offers good gameplay and a large range of cars (although physics sucks and DLCs kinda ruined the game)
Im guessing you think NFS is realistic then. I played PCars with a wheel that didn't even have FFB or a clutch, just paddles and Throttle + Brake set and I loved it. The sounds were amazing, the career mode was okay and above all the cars felt incredibly realistic and unique. You could tell there was actual simulation going on, such as the way the car bounces and settles after going over a kerb and the way the engines and turbos react and work. Its better than assetto corsa but it is not very fun unless you spend hours configuring the controller to your liking or have a wheel and pedals.
NFS realistic? ah yeah. Well no. But Project Cars is just a waste of money. Best Racing Game i have played is Assetto Corsa for realism The game where i had the most fun in is GRID Autosport. And this also sucks a bit.
While project cars might be realistic, I have to agree it is awful. I'm too lazy too make a bullet list of why it is so bad right now but I'll edit my post later
I actually quite enjoy dirt showdown. its a new twist to the series but sadly i wish they went more derby then a mix of whatever they did. cars are amazing tho, which is why ive ported 4 of them to beamng lol Heard flatout 4 was coming. hope that one is as good as flatout 3. Insane 2 absolutely sucks and i personally dislike ford racing 3
oh the worst driving game I have played....City Car Driving Simulator I couldnt get the gearbox to work when I changed it to my normal shoulder buttons when I selected the gear it jumped straight out and every fix they suggested did work....the absolute worst 1 hour 20 minutes of my entire life!
NFS 2016... I beta tested it... was appalled by the physics and bugs... wrote them a terrible letter rattling off all the things wrong with the game... never bought it because of that and the fact that they have fixed literally nothing except manual shifting. End of story.

I have it for ps4. I have never come across many bugs for the game(except civillian cars spawning in the roof at one part and randomly dissapearing cars. I have to agree that the game is shit at some parts. It did good on some aspects though. Good customization and a lot of cars and an nice decal editor. ( there were still some car i wish they would've added though.) It also didn't really have much for dlc's and got some free updates.(the controls for shifting gears on an controller were shit though). But the trash physics, wheel support only on pc, always raining and always night 24/7 just outweighed the positives. It rained so much you wouldn't be surprised if you would see Noah's ark appear in the map one day. The map could've been better too. and the fact that every guy in the game had an max upgraded aventador and that that was the go to car for everyone to use for everything was just annoying and not fun. You also had to grind the same 8000$ drag races to be able to afford to buy an new car and make an new build.
Well, I am just going to warn you, (also had it for PS4) that the game does glitch a bit (disappearing roads was the big one for me) and the physics are comparable to that of Mario kart. Also, pertaining to the customization, some cars have really good customization while the rest have almost nothing. I was super excited to see the Fox Body Mustang in the game and I was gonna go ham with it... there is almost nothing you can do to it though. Almost nothing. So just remember that.
