you should change this to be less confusing. right now, the default setting of "all" only includes stock vehicles. that is now how the word "all" works.

i think it makes more sense to make it so that "all" truly means all vehicles, but include a "stock vehicles" or "official vehicles" option as well.

 

We will be getting better times with the race update. New friction and transmission coding.

 

good, as i can't get anything under 5 mins because of the current vehicle handling models only thing is we need to wait ages for it (yes ik it will be worth it, but we still have to wait quite a while)

i try, but the vehicles just fly off the mountain, and doesn't help that my gas and brake pedal are on the same axis, still haven't figured out how to get them both working, atm only the gas pedal does anything, the brake pedal just causes the throttle and brake inputs to go crazy, as shown in a video on my input map help: input-map-troubles

 

i personally cant wait to see what the t75 and pigeon can do down this track lol. I'd imagine the pigeon will be over 5 minutes, and the t75 will be just under 5

you don't need brakes in this game, just use the broken friction to your advantage and oversteer to slow down. e-brake to slow down before a jump if you have to.

UGH, this map is really aggravating sometimes, can't get past the second turn with some car's, and can't get past the third turn with some car's

here, i can't get past the first 3 corner's depending on vehicle and without using the normal brakes (i use keyboard brakes when i need them normally (which is what slows me down, i have a strange setup because small desk)) also doesn't help that my wheel has a small dead zone, so i can't just barley turn the wheel :/

almost finished, you can watch it now, but will have horrible quality because no hd yet (also, skip to about 3:24, before that is me forgetting to mute twitch on my browser)

 

What's the point of having a leaderboard that displays stock vehicles ( official ) next to vehicles that have been manually modified to ridiculous levels ( unofficial ) ? If it was organized that way, ultimately, all the top 20 spots would be nonofficial vehicles.

I'll change the wording of the sort parameters.

 

i understand what you mean, changing the wording without changing functionality makes the most sense i suppose. i can see the scenario where someone in a default covet wants to see how they compare in rank to hopped up race cars, though. i don't think an "all" button that really shows all cars would be a bad thing, but definitely reword it to make it clear that only official vehicles are included under the default option.




@logoster, bro! you're racing at like 10 fps! i cant read the speedometer, but after watching you slide off the first turn you're going at a ridiculous speed into that corner and beginning the turn way late for your speed.

honestly its near imposible to drive like that. pretty much not even worth it.

 

fps is my gpu's fault (of course, streaming at the same time as playing a very cpu intensive game probably didn't help much either)

i have no brakes to really slow down all that much (as i've said about twice now)

and video quality is youtube being youtube, i always stream at 1024P (NVM, just checked my obs settings, for some reason it was downscaling to 640x360)

I see. I'll get around to adding that. It's a little easier said than done because it invovles modifying PHP arrays and MYSQL queries, etc.. all that BS.

My best time is 2:30, but in the video I only make a 2:32. I'm driving the Zakspeed Capri Turbo with the Div 1 engine.

 

Mike, I suggest you add a lot of popular mods, and allow people to specify their own in place of other on the leaderboard.
