What do you mean windows 8 isn't that good with gaming? It has been proven in numerous benchmarks with a multitude of games where Windows 8 can give a performance boost, sometimes even a significant performance increase.

    Let's see...
    CPU: 4960x
    Motherboard: Rampage IV
    GPU: 3x GTX 780
Case: 800D (I personally prefer the more understated look of the 800D to something like a 900D or Phantom)
    Memory: 16GB
    PSU: AX 1200i
Storage: If I have no budget, I'd probably go crazy with some raid 0 ssd array.

For cooling, custom water cooling all the way.
But alas, I can only dream so much. I go insane just thinking about a dream computer.

i DO have GTA 4, it works PERFECTLY, with no problems, in fact, i even run it at 45+ fps, on an INTEL HD 2500(lowest settings, but still, it supposedly shouldn't run at ALL, on an intel hd(according to rockstar anyway)), so your argument is INVALID

I don't understand how you could possibly see 30fps as choppy.
13 fps is perfectly fine to me.

You should probably go borrow some stuff from jetcoasterfan.

To be honest i grew up with sub 20fps frame rates. Then i got a 360 and had 30fps which was nice, then i got a PC and enjoyed 60fps, then the 360 became so outdated that it couldn't even do 30fps, i had already completely switched by that point. I really notice the micro stutter below 60fps though on a PC, to the point where i stop playing because it isn't really enjoyable anymore. On our old Pentium 4 pc (gpu was bottleneck, the CPU could deal with ror just fine) i played ror at around 15 fps and i could deal with that since it was consistent and you get used to that. I just cant deal with the microstutter since it makes 50fps feel like 30fps.

can confirm that 30 fps is perfectly fine

i myself can stand to go as low as 15 fps, otherwise i just won't play it
