How old you were when you got your first car? What was your first car? Let me start: i turned 17 this year and i got my first car Volvo s60 2008 2.4l diesel (classic). Need to wait one more year to get driving licence
my first driveable car is an '89 ford bronco I got earlier this month and I get my permit in the summer which gives me time to replace the brake lines and give it a tune up. It has the 4.9 I6, a 5 speed manual, manual transfer case and locking hubs. It also has a 4 inch suspension lift on 33 inch tires, 240,000 miles and paid $1700 for it
I was 17, I got it in September 2016 but it had been in the family for 3 years prior. mk2 Renault Clio Campus 2007. It's everything you could want from a first car, it's agile, safe and not as slow as people think. It gets up to speed relatively quickly. I'm 18 now and drive the Clio everyday. Would recommend it as a first car for anyone.
Thanks to calf standards, your Renault Clio is faster than it, also most C4 Corvettes are automatics.
exactly, I'm saying how expensive insurance is. £5000 for an mx5 is a lot. True but that won't effect the insurance in a good way I bet.
240 Horses isn't high by all means and that's the fastest it was during the 1980's, (That isn't the B2K Callaway), and plus, older Corvette do have cheap insurance, do to old people owning them.
true, here in the UK you could never insure a 240 hp car for a reasonable price as a first car. My Clio has around 70bhp and is still a lot to insure (it's a 1.2l)
2005 Dodge Stratus, 2.4L DOHC engine, 4 speed automatic. It was reliable, but bad on fuel economy and slow. My current car is a 2014 Honda Civic EX.
