Oh your including the muscle cars as well, right i see well i was banging on about things like the PT cruiser and that weird looking chev ute. Not those other cars, there fine because they are what they are, like the 911 or the Challenger, they are not pretenders. How JDMguy5 puts it is puts it is spot on what i was thinking
what bothers me the most is the hole in the timeline thats 2006-2008 Okay so speaking of that here is basically what i came up with, a crappy sketch of a 2006-idk barstow mockup I will make it less crap eventually
that looks beautiful! i could definitely see the beam ng drive team bringing back that barstow for the 2006 model year and actually remake the barstow from 2006 - 2019
It would be great to see some more 50s/60s cars, maybe even older. But I also think we're lacking in 2000s content- in fact, besides mods the only cars mainly built during that decade are the facelifted Roamer and the bus.
We could use more 50s cars, a few 30s and 40s cars and 1 or two more 2010s cars. In general BeamNG is just 90s and 80s cars
What if we expanded the Cherrier lineup by adding some more cars to it? The Renault Alaskan could add some variety. Or if you guys absolutely hate pickups, you could go for a Duster.
As much as I love and respect motors of that age, having grown up around them, I absolutely agree with you.
okay so finally some vehicles being suggested without shite ideas :/ tbh the game needs more iconic cars that really have alot of character instead of just being the stupid Jay dee em bruh soup with 1000 hp stock or a stupid hypercar that cant do mutch apart from scraping on every road surface
Muscle cars? Like Ford Mustang 5th gen from 2012? (even got a name: Gavril Miletrack) Or Dodge Challenger from 2012?
guys, dont worry i just need to complete my sketch which would look just like a modern interpretation of a barstow
yes! although maybe the beam ng team can make the car look like a hybrid of the 2 considering that they can't use real life cars.
you guys are looking at this way too simply, you do know making a good vehicle isnt just copiying an existing vehicle, its to create something unique and memorable. shows why BMW is messing up lately.
agreed, but a healthy dose of continuality never hurt anyone. i mean, look at the nissan z, from 2002 until recantly the z was just a warmed over model that hardly changed from one year to the next. and really, if you look at it, it didn't really follow the z heritage, but the 2021 model, it isn't really a new, memorable design, it merely re-imagines the first gen z, it isn't groundbreaking or revolutionary, i belive this is part of what might make it a future legend
its not just the sense of continuation, but the thing im trying to adress is that beamng needs consistaint design languages for each marque, and the etki has almost nothing relating it to the etk K and 800 series design wise.
