I finally checked my motherboard and figured out what it was. It's a MSI B550-A PRO (MS-7C56). Anyone know what GPU is compatible with that and an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU?
I dunno. I didn't build this PC (my dad did) so all my PC info comes from the AMD gaming app and the MSI Live update 6 program.
Well I live on the east coast, and i've been thinking about building my own PC for a while. Since it seems like directX Might be dropped soon and my 4GB RX570 craps out on Vulcan, I figured it's about time I did some research.
My dad made this PC years ago and a couple of years ago upgraded to a setup with an (i assume a 8GB) RX580 and a Ryzen 7 (I think) CPU, so I got his old PC. Still runs like a champ but the minimum specs for everything keep going up, and up... and up. --- Post updated --- Now I can't even run "potato-friendly" games like the new Asseto Corsa without an RX580...
So with that said. Are there any good budget RTX GPU's I can get that are compatible, and won't quickly become min spec? --- Post updated --- RTX is not technically needed, but since some new games require it, it would be great to have.
