Killer-PC: cpu : i7 3770 4 x 3.4 ram : 8gb of ddr3 ram gpu : Nvidia geforce GTX660 hdd : 2tb sata 7200 rpm psu :1000w Runs everything ( exept ror crash derby testing(with mv4s')
Because it's just paying for nothing. Your computer is consuming around 400W at full load. But if it came with it then perfect
HP ENVY 700-047c Specs: CPU: Intel i5 3470 @ 3.2 GHz MEMORY: 12GB DDR3 GPU: Radeon HD 8570 2GB DDR3 @ 900MHz HDD: 2 TB PSU: 460 Watts (MAX) Anyone think this could run BeamNg on MAX settings with everything enabled?
I don't think so. For the livestreams they had a GTX 560 and they had to run it on med settings. By the way what resolution are we talking about? GTX 560 >> HD 8570 But the CPU is good for handling multiple cars, which is the most important thing in this game.
I will probably run a 1280x720 resoulution, Again I don't really care about what visual settings to use, if I get 120 fps at low, I will use low... I just want to make sure my OEM GPU can handle BeamNg I will have plenty of memory and CPU for multiple cars!! Thats what I like about this computer...Pretty powerful for a Pre-Built!
Kinda average I guess, Core I5, 16GB RAM, SSD, Win8, Decent Mid-Range Graphics. The 16 GB RAM are mostly for virtualization, which is nice if you don't want to have all the developer stuff, like your SQL server, on your machine slowing down everything.
Have a laugh! This is a DESKTOP 2008 HP a6750y Desktop 2.3 GHz AMD Phenom x4 Quad-Core 8GB RAM 750 GB HDD ATI Radeon 3200 HD Integrated Motherboard Graphics (256MB dedicated) Win Vista x64 :X (imported from here)
Have a even bigger Laugh : My old pc: Amd Athlon II x4 630 4 x 2.8ghz(no l3cache , slow as f*ck) 4gb ddr2! ram amd radeon hd 6950(sooooo overpowered) win 7 30 days demo (been using it for 2 years...)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1kv2o Woot Woot! This new gaming PC I ordered and built should run BeamNg no problem Specs: CPU: AMD FX-8320 8-Core processor @ 3.5GHz GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB DDR5 Video Card @ 1.08 GHz Memory: G.Skill Ares 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 HDD: 1TB 3.5" 7600RPM PSU: Cooler Master i600 600W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply Any questions? This Rig can run any game current/next gen at high with 50+ fps All that coming about around $1,000
My CPU went down by 0.2 :C Not too worried about HDD, i don't see the fascination in a SSD, even if it does make the comp boot faster.
Intel Core i7 3610QM @ 2.3 GHz (boost 3.1) GTX 670m Overclocked 16 GB's Elixir 1600 MHz RAM 3x500GB HDD's (2x in RAID0)
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1kCLv This machine im building would run BeamNg with its CPU tied behind its back....

Reducing the boot times is probably one of the lesser things an SSD can do for you. Half of the startup time is initializing hardware. And modern mainboards and operating systems will be designed more and more to not having to reboot very often anyway. That's why I don't understand people who bought 64GB SSDs and just installed Windows on it. An SSD makes sense if you install all of your applications and games on it also. Anything below 120GB makes no sense in my opinion. That said, for some games it's more useful than for others. But for example Firefox's startup time is greatly reduced. Also development tools like Visual Studio/Eclipse benefit greatly. If you don't work on your computer and just want to play games without long loading times, you won't get the appeal of SSDs. It's still nice to have though. Also old laptops/desktops can be sped up easily with a cheap SSD, because most 2.5" drives are ridiculously slow. I have a 3 year old laptop that cost 450? when it was new, and it goes like the clappers since it has a Samsung 840 in it.
