    i5 is definitely worth it...

You wont have to replace an i5 for years as long as you get the right one....

Headphones don't make the performance of your computer better....

    No dude!!!!
    That build is amazing!!
The only weak spot is the I7 2600 since its a pretty old Sandy Bridge but that CPU should be powerful enough....

Your GPU is BEAST!! That thing can run battlefield 3 ULtra at 80+ FPS!

Everything else in your computer should be fine...

BeamNg should be a Piece of Cake for this machine! easily 60+ fps on BeamNg!

Battlefield 3 is nothing especially the singleplayer (i can play the singleplayer hd on high settings with 40-30 fps with a hd6670 (1gb gddr5) and my q9550) If you have a strong quad core processor you can play on ultra settings if your video card is strong enough. On the other hand b3 needs a very strong gpu.

    Thanks heaps

It depends on the i5, if it's the new Haswell versus the Core 2 Quad there will be a big difference but if it's the older first generation i5 then there won't be as much difference.

Also if its the QX(extreme), but those were 3 and 3.2GHz versions AFAIK. The Extreme versions were quite good.

Oh I should have mentioned that the new i5s are more efficient which means they run cooler and consume less power. The QX 6850 is less powerful and consumes more power than say a i5 3470. Also depending on your motherboard you will need a different socket on an older model to support the Core 2 Quads.

I just got the Lenovo G580 that has a i5 3230M with 4GB of DDR3 RAM at 1600 I think with Intel HD Graphics 4000 and a 500GB hard drive. Hopefully it'll be enough for BeamNG at low settings.

    Beat these specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core / 1GB RAM / Nvidia GeForce 6100 nForce 405 / Windows XP 32Bit
I bet I can run BeamNG 60FPS easily

Highly doubt that will be able to play BeamNG. It might be able to manage one car at lowest possible settings, but it's a pentium laptop. Pentium is horrible as is, considering its a laptop it will be even worse and the integrated graphics are barely enough to even play webgames.

What about a MacBook Pro with 2.8GHZs and that can boost up to 3.2GHZs?

Hi guys, should I go from a C2Q 2.66GHz to an amd phenom II x4 black edition?
    Is it worth it?

    Thanks!

That old C2Q is slower than the newer Phenom II X4 965.
    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/phenom-x4-965,2389-11.html

But the problem is that the performance increase will only be marginal so you most probably won't notice it, you're better of if you get more recent hardware since it will perform much better.
