My website is down, as is my websites hosting company, as is their service status website (its down worldwide as checked with uptrends). And they haven't posted an update on any of their social media platforms to let any of their customers know what is going on. smh Interestingly uptrends is reporting a dns error trying to connect to the hosting companies website. So whatever has happened is presumably pretty major. Queue mental images of admins chased down isles of racks by plumes of smoke and fire
Glad to see they are back online. No issues they say... while more or less everything is not available
My life has degraded into making deep fried beamng pictures online. Send help. Слава Сталину и симуляторы автомобилей.

Multiple unexpected phone calls and text messages from Google Phone Verification, all with the same code. No idea what's going on or what to do with these codes. Help. SITREP: This appears to be a scam and has been duly ignored.
Easy fix if you are getting them on your mobile (cellphone) just report the number as "Scams" and it will be blocked
In today's instalment of Alwyn complains about professionalism in tech companies... Just got an email from my mobile carrier telling me that they have suffered a data breach. Except, the breach happened in 2017, and affected 10 million customers, and its taken them until the last quarter of 2018 to figure out what happened and notify customers. They also haven't mentioned what level of compromised they have experienced, was the data encrypted or not?, did it contain password information?, they haven't told me to change my password... So then ofc I have to go to their website in order to look for more info... Hmmm... Real comforting... Good to know that after all this time you still haven't a clue which customers were actually affected. I guess I should be happy that they at least fulfilled their legal obligation to tell me that a breach occurred :/ I also wonder if this has anything to do with the scam phone calls I have been getting exclusively through my mobile phone over the last year. The type of scam call where the scammers know exactly who I am. To be clear, the fact that the breach happened, while unfortunate, isn't why I am slightly displeased with them. Its the fact that they took this long to let me know, and have gone full PR on the email to the point where I can't accurately tell what has happened. Meaning I have no idea what an appropriate response would be.
Haiku OS is about to enter beta, and I'm hyped. Are you? You should be. We really need all hands on deck testing this stuff. If you're feeling gutsy, download a nightly image here, spin up a VM and get testing today! Do your worst, try to break it in novel ways and report the bugs here. </haiku-shill>
So, a few days ago I released the spring mod for BeamNG... I don't speak Russian, and google translated captions are, lets just say flaky at best, but seeing someone experiment with the spring has more or less made my day. Is super cool to see people doing things that I had never have even thought to have tried with it xD For example at 14:25 (Obviously I can't verify the wholesomeness of the above video, since I don't speak the language, from what I can tell its a little on the edgy side, so don't say I didn't warn you )
If you see an Indian or Chinese restaurant in the ghetto areas of Southern England, don't eat there. You'll end up with 50 forms of E. Coli and atleast 500 parasite species
