Saturday was cool, at Circuit of the Americas, I have some UHD videos from the day, Ill see if I can upload any.
I actually went to where it is and saw it. N/A 5-Speed Manual with a 2JZ-GE, and It's also a liftback.
Got a new office chair today. It's a Steelcase Please V2. (2nd hand ofc, because rrp is rip money) Its not a plush chair, but it is very comfy in a "its designed by someone competent, who actually intended for people to sit in it" sort of way. As such I am enjoying it so far, and the flexibility it gives me to move around a bit while sitting. Its replacing the Staples back ache 3000 (the padding is totally shot*) *Knocking the backrest with my hand sounds like a wooden door, but the bits behind shoulders are like a new chair, meaning it forces me into a really shoulders forward position, while also not supporting my back.
At least you have padding This has been my char for like the last 4-5 years I recently just put the pad back on because of how cold this chair gets but it keeps falling off
Played around in Polish Roads in BeamNG. Heh, I miss Poland, it's been over 5 years since I last visited there. I think I'm going next year, though .
I thought that I quickly finish one mod at the morning, but surprisingly it took bit longer than I though. I look now outside and see there is snow everywhere. Great, white wet icy cold stuff and I should walk there for an hour, not want to
Just running the excavator today (john deere 200d lc), really wish it was possible to have one of these in game ive had a ball with the articulating loader in the game though lol.
General driving of a Lincoln towncar, 1991 5.0 Windsor V8 around "the yard", my half brother was driving a tractor, and he put it in top gear, gave it some revs and said do u want to race, and i said sure why not, well 5L of V8 won (of course), but the tyres chirped, IN 2ND GEAR! On a dry day, with a 150HP engine!! that's odd! That lincoln is such an interesting car, transmission is just 99% there, but that last % you can feel sometimes when it cloncks into 3rd sometimes. Not bad for 1991 though And also the climate control works in one setting, and that is in "VENT" mode and "HI" fan speed. I think the resistor pack is shot.
Here we got more snow, also there was firetrucks and all, read from the interwebz that this house is on fire, good thing it was higher up so no need to stop doing mods and playing BeamNG... Ah, well, they left so I guess fire is put out for now
Did some custom physics code, and some manual drawing code. Also did some buoyancy code. All together, I have sparks, shards (triangles flying off the car), and well, floating
I havent posted here in quite a while, mostly what I have been doing is getting back to my old job as a Server engineer at a small charity I use to work at years ago and mostly its been fun working on servers and computers and stuff like that. Also been getting into modding, I am still nervous about one of a newer mods I have made and had it tuned up and I will see in due time what will happen with it if I do release it then thats all good another mod done and another vehicle out there I suppose... PC gaming a bit, felt a little burned out on Beam and Automation so I got back into a few other games that I had, ETS2 and doing some grinding there of achievements, as well as ATS as well for that side of things and also doing some FS17 and I have pre-ordered FS19 already so yeah.... As for more personal things, well been watching the Formula 1 over the past couple of months and its been pretty dull, Mercedes needs a challenge and the rules need adjusting to make it a challenge for them, also I was at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix and that was new levels of epicness because of seeing all the classic vehicles right up from the 1920s till the early 1980s. As for my driving well, I have been keeping a calm head and keeping my anger out of it, if I become angry at the wheel I am no longer fit to drive so I have to keep as calm as possible and I have challenged myself to get 300 miles in my Volvo which I have done, my next goal is 400 miles and I am currently sitting just under 360 miles on 1 tank of fuel which I filled up on the 1st October I am more than comfortable enough gonna get into November on 1 tank of diesel I have been averaging so far over the past 24 days since filling up of 30.8mpg(imp) I think I can reach about 450 to 460 miles if I am really careful and that would be an achievement all on its own but I am sitting at less than a quarter tank but it flickers around there I am not exactly sure because of the way the fuel level seems to be misbehaving a little I need to have that checked over. As for the Jaguar well I have driven to Cornwall twice with it even though I did sections through the driving, M6 side which was last year and that took well about 2 days to get there and stuff, as for this year it was a 3 day trip because it was the A1 and that side of the country and I found it nice and fun good to get out and do some hard driving on it, as for more recently with it well, did a Dunbar run and finally got the guts to go to 100% throttle backed out of it once I got up to cruising speed of 75mph and I set the cruise control and leave it alone. I think that covers me since my last post here
It's surprisingly very close to the original Hide the Unity UI and I don't think many people would be able to tell the difference. I wonder what happens with copyright/trademarks, as they are considered Abandonware. The idea of an simil-MM game with MP support that runs on modern tech is inviting tho
I wonder too. Since I've essentially re-written their game engine in Unity, what I have here is all my own. The idea of this is you place the EXE alongside the default EXE and you can play. User made mods work too.
If you can find someone cool at Microsoft's games division, there is a smallish chance that they might be willing to pass it off as an HD remake (with some nicer textures etc), ofc you would have to share revenue at that point. But there could be some money in it. Since MS did allow that Halo fan game to live. So you never know?
my 8 dollar backup camera should be delivered today...anxious to see if it has any semblance of picture quality, going to do a test fir and jerry rig the wires to see if its worth me ripping the interior out to route the wires back to the trunk but the nice thing is the camera comes attached to a replacement license plate bulb cover, so it should look nice and factory compared to those ugly ass license plate bolt on types or one that needs to be drilled in somewhere. and for 8 or 9 bucks from ALIExpress, cant beat that, even if it does suck. And it has only been about a week since I placed the order. Still waiting for my shifter boot to be shipped from Poland, hope it comes soon cuz that was what I wanted more than anything. Camera is a necessity tho, since having the windows limo tinted in the back, I cant see shit especially at night or when it rains. cross your fingers for me.
