My dad in 70s owned (i'm russian) the white kopeika (a bit cheaper than zaz) plz make the kopeika ,i would not care which jbeam it uses:miramar, grand marshall because its a beautiful 60s car
this is edit of this post, fixing grammatical mistakes and adding more info as a result.
So a small update, and no the project isn't dead(yet)!
Since i am close to deadline i have put 100% of my creative time on writing the documentation about the project that the teachers will review and grill me questions about, hence no direct process on project.
I think i managed to fix the model rotation(haven't sewed the .dea file to jbeam so idk yet) but that is the only thing i have done on the project for last 1.5 months? Basically after i have done the school documentation and get/gottten(?, english isnt my native language, obviously) a temporary job(few days a week)(to earn 60-100 euros for eating money that i would use when ill work/study engineering and stuff during a summer on a cottage on a island that belongs my 2 years ago internship boss(the internship was a part of school graduation and was the most fun moments of my life and and he will teach me new tricks and stuff i can use in future.
For example the main thing ill do is work on a renault clio(minivan version/trim) ecu(fixing the software/putting new info on it) since car doesn't start and my old internship boss is the biggest DIY guy i have ever seen, hence no new ecu part whit everything preinstalled and working!
So ill have ton of time to work on my project during summer(i hope...)
--- Post updated ---
Oh wow, why didn't i get notifications?
Holy .... dude! I literally want to kiss you or something for helping me! Like i just saw it now and you literally made my day!
Under Kopeika you mean Ziguli, the oldest one whit only 1 pair of headlights? ВАЗ-2101? My grand grandpa used to own some premium/export version of 2103!
Once i have enough skill and free time for a new project ill start working on it(of course after current project is done), well maybe after a Fiat 1500 that my dear friend asked me to mod next!
Pimp my ride.
When i am done whit documentation writing or get extended time ill reverse engineer some(depending on how much time ill have) burilkovdeni work for educating myself and ill start doing like derby trim/version of it as first self tutorial thingy, whit like a tractor taillight welded/screwed on top of the engine bay side bit.
Modeled after old eastern european tractors which i saw when i were growing up on countryside , aka belarus is one that is the main one used here(this image is from another country, found it after googling classic belarus tractor taillights).
This is copy paste of message i sent to -Beamng Admin-. Do you have few min to help me?
Also the project has to be as closely made by only me as possible, hence i created a new s**ty fork, also for self teaching.
Hi, so i have a problem, i have to protect my work(this is my graduation project) tomorrow in front of class and for some reason my jbeam and 3d model aren't on same spot(jbeam is more to right and a bit back) in Beamng, despite being at same space in Blender(when i load the .blender file i use for jbeam export and the .dae of the model into same blender window they overlap closely/perfectly
I have around 20 hours to get basic wobbly mod running for presentation(missing/inverted textures are okay, but the model has to be visible(at least somewhat, eg its okay if its partially invisible due to bad normals) and fit the jbeam(so i can present it and talk about what i did, etc...)...
Can you(or any other admin/beamng non staff member fix it in span of 20 hours(the presentation is tomorrow 9:00) or maybe tell me how to fix it?
The texture files might include a stolen asset(came whit original 3d model) that i havent had time yet to replace, will replace it before the mod is done/running
might be the most obvious modding question ever:
Have you applied location, rotation and scale in blender?
How do i exactly do it?
EDIT: I might have done it, idk...
select every mesh apart from the props (gauges, wheels) and press CTRL+A and tick those boxes
When i just press(after the bodywork is selected) ctrl+a i don't get any boxes, however i get 3 boxes(location, rotation, scale) when i click on "Rotation and Scale", is this the thing i am supposed to get?
yes, I meant those, press CTRL+A, click rotation and scale and make sure that locatation, rotation and scale are selected.
Also, to make your car look better ingame, I would suggest using an edgesplit modifier
Thanks man, you fixed it! I have tought of making special edition version of this car for everyone who helped me(even by a single command it appears ), so what is your idea of your own special edition/trim? For example Failrace(my fav racing games YT'ber) gets a ZAZ968 whit biggest wing yet seen!
I don't need a special edition, I'm just someone on the forum who likes to help
Protecting/Retsentsioon is in 10 hours, wish me well!
OH ME GERD A RUSSIAN KERR PERFEK FUR BEAMNG
Oh er gerd it cant be!
great job♥ cant wait to see soviet cars in beamng! (hope its not bootleg)
So? Did it go well?
Also, what are your plans for this mod?
