WIP ZAZ 968M Zaporozhets/Запоро́жець/Запоро́жец (and other variations later)

It did go well, i got 3(would had gotten 4 probably if i had given enough time to show all the powerpoint slides at correct tempo and not forgetting to show gif of the chassis ingame...)!

I had the actus on 20th of June and it went fine, better than i expected

Also i had my EUCIP exams(Maintenance and Management modules) 3 days ago and i passed them!

I have been busy whit life and taking time off to think about my future, eg what ill specialize in(programming? Web development?) and can i get to uni after finding a work and getting the exams done needed for the uni(my grades are mostly field of 3's...)


When it comes to mod i am taking a 2 week break for now to relax after stressful few months, and then ill keep working on it.

The plans for the mod are to complete it and then create ton of cars based on zaz968 designs, most of which are shared to me by one of the Beamng users. Eventually id like to do a limo version, a pickup version, a water floating wheeled version(Karakatitsa) and a soviet rocket powered(RD100 series one?) zaz968M(this idea came from remembering fast and furious 8 and i had this idea few months before Tesla did their own stunt )

For now i am just burnt out of doing the project for now, i need few weeks to recover and deal whit company to get my eucip certification(i completed it but got no feedback...)

EDIT: i have copy of my latest work(the one that i rewrote using only beamng only code if i remember right) on my usb flashdrive, ill upload it tomorrow(if i remember, am sort of busy...) here so you guys can try it(its only chassis whitout any driveability)

 

Also i am bit busy atm whit being in Ösel Island (where my old internship boss cottage is) so i cant upload the files(i am using another pc) and i am busy way too much to work on the project(building a basement and working on Renault Clio ECU instead)...

 

So this is pretty much the same model from the game Spintires MudRunner?

 

The 3d file i based my project on? Idk, very likely?

However i have heavily modified the 3d file(in a span of doing it daily like 3+ hours or so for a year).

List that i remember:
Created body and body panel thickness/double mesh.
Remodelled front side fenders to have real car puzzle shaped connection to the body
Textures of inside buttons and speedometer(WIP).
Separated body panels
Created the square looking mesh lines for deformation by hand due to no way to make it automatically since i broke the mesh...



Update: We whit oscilloscope help connected o TA069-2 can junction box thingy found that the Renault Clio ECU/CAN still works in some sense, by at least sending a signal when turning a key, so now we need software to fix it ourselves.

 

Finally some one keeps working on a great mod instead of just dumping it!!!

 

a quality mod take around 2 year to be made.

I have been bit busy in my life and bad mental health(like depression but not exactly, been suffering it for 10 years and finally got the help 3 years ago / medicine 9 months ago) on top of that hasn't allowed me to work on the mod for a while, once i get my life rolling in few weeks ill be able to continue.

I plan to make them in future, especially VAZ 2103 which is one my great great grandpa used to own, i think his one was a luxury or export model tough, not sure...

 

i have a fiat 1600 wich is preatty much a vaz 2103 or some similar model of that year so thats why i was asking lol

well my hopes were up and now their down.

 

Well, it's not dead per se, it's just somewhat on hold due to depression(lost most of my IRL friends for various reasons and have gained none back), birth condition and lack of mood/drive to work on it at the moment. I'd rather do something else/fix my life and by doing that get more will/stamina/motivation to work on the project than work on the project constantly causing really low-quality work that gets constantly scrapped leading to nothing getting done. This project was pretty much an 11 am to 11 pm non profit work for me for a year(modeling and learning software, writing documentation for school, this lasted spring 2017? to June 2018) and the project has quite literally burned me out + shitty IRL life means that I have a hard time working on the project for now. Once my life improves(like it did for 6 months last year October) I will be able to work on the project and be in good mood/mental health. The project won't be dead(probably, unless I die or forgot this promise? My Sign is Taurus and we hate unfinished stuff and are quite bull-headed) until I drop all the project files(whit backups glorious 23GB) download link here! Until that you can expect it to be halted or temporarily dead but not completely dumped/buried.

My ETA of next work marathon on it will be after winter or during the Christmas Eve

EDIT: Like i said, untill i drop the mod files and backups here, they project won't be (guranteed-ly)dead.
