it uses the covet jbeam... DON'T download it half the car is not even mapped --- Post updated --- no covet jbeam =\ even worse
Russian quality. This looks much better --- Post updated --- So a rear engined, rwd saloon uses a fwd front engined hatchback jbeam? Bloody Russians
If I had the mod I could prob fix the jbeam a bit --- Post updated --- BTW how is the model going,? I want to see some pics =D
Here you (and everyone else who wants it) go, though it doesn't deserve jbeam fixing. Properly packed and no vegetals, I mean, viruses. Original author: 58_gram
I will fix the jbeam (at least try) lol its on the covet frame --- Post updated --- This better? I dont know if it actualy worked but i used a vm on mac so i cant run beam
Are you retarded? Everyone knows outdated russian models are the worst. I have this mod and it runs fine, it's a bit visually abominable and it is a little to quick.
It actually uses covet jbeam.... The worst kind of jbeam for it(since trunk acts like hatchback trunk and flys off the car like attatched whit cables... Well, seems like my job is done, time to quit! Fun fact: We both use same model as base for our projects! If my facts are right(based that we both use the same model), and from the looks of it, he uses a texture file from Street Legal Racing Redline base cars(from base game, not some mods).: Evidence? : The chassis texture is named as:"Nonus_chassis", Nonus being a skyline from that game! Ill do some comparing and either get permission from the hungarian developers of the game, or create my own chassis texture(which i suck at...) Wanna steal my mod? Just unpack his and you get access to same files i have(whit the russian modder edits, not mine)! I also had some medical issues(liver related) and some goverment bs(military conscription related)... so i havent worked on the model for couple of days(but copied beamng official cars and unpacked them to a folder for research(eg body panel moddeling, TIL: beamng cars have 2 sided front fender panel mesh, meanwhile "my" model has only one side(atm).... For all the time i have played beamng(0.3.0.5? days, i know it was early version ending whit 0.5) i didnt notice beamng cars having 2 sided front fender panel mesh!?....) --- Post updated --- What do you mean under the car is not even mapped? To be fair, i am not sure my mod would be a lot better(since its my first mod, those russians have some experience!) but one of my objectives is to beat that mod(atleast in some aspects, eg better jbeam, actual body parts(eg front fender panels not being force welded to the car chassis), more polys for the doors, so doors dont bend literally like triangles), maybe even working lights, better interior textures that dont look like ripped from a early 90s computer game... Tbf, they could have done worse, eg use the panel van(H seires?) or the semi for jbeam! Hey! Feel free to jbeam my project when it gets to the stage! (atm i am redoing front fender panels, so they have 2 sided mesh(not flat one sided) and doing the support frame thingy behind the fender, under the front windshield) Hey! Stop improving his mod! It makes it harder for me to make better quality/realistic mod!!!! Working on it, having some problems whit blender... Also my russian source/moddeler has gone M.I.A..... Right now i (still) have my Hungarian source whit me! --- Post updated --- Also, i have slight OCD and lack of luck when it comes to moddeling the car... For example every time i get a info that i did something wrong(eg thinking the front fascia bottom part(below the attatchable bumper) was a separate piece, that front fender panels go 90 degree, behind the front bit of the car door frame), i have to remodel those bits again.... Ill think ill work on a rough version of the car first(then release it), and after that ill start making more accurate version(door hinges, hole in the floor, small stuff like that) Also i have to give some credit for the russian modder! he actually chose another material color and removed the texture from the dashboard! And he also did some custom material coloring for inside of the door!
Have you seen The Da Vinci Code? Or any movie like that whit ton of puzzles that make barley sense, unless you have sky high IQ? Imagine those movie puzzles as a car, you get ZAZ968.... For example i am working on front fender panels atm. They have sort of a stairs step on one side(Marked inside red lines structure in one of the pics below). When the panels are on the car, you cant see them, and yet underbody(pics below of cars whitout the fender) dosent seem to have a way to integrate them...
next just improve the jbeam, then add some extras.BOOM a good mod. --- Post updated --- also didn't these things have a V2 2-stroke engine
