4 months already? still feels like it's only been 4 months since 2021 started letalone since the last update
Yup : -The Ibishu Pessima remaster - The Civetta Bolide remaster (if it's done yet) -The new car will probably be added -A freaking fridge -Maybe a map remaster (Cliff or Germany, who knows ?) -Maybe another existing car remaster -Probably a lot of new skins, wheels, engines, configurations, bodies... - And a ton of other surprises Btw, even if we had a little spooky teaser Friday (the fridge), do you think that we'll have a new teaser Tuesday new week ?
https://www.beamng.com/threads/civetta-bolide.136/page-25#post-1339508 It's like the 15th time i link someone to that link
Not sure, as the update must be very close to release, and there isn’t always a teaser every week. I am excited though, as beam is my favorite game. You can’t find another game with as good of a soft body physics system as this one. --- Post updated --- Ikr
Yeah I know, I've read this post too, but it was written 3 months ago, when we thought that the update will be released following the 3/4 months time lapse. That's why I precised "If it's done yet", because we don't have any news : maybe when they said "not imminently" they meant "not for the next month" or maybe "not for the next year" ! We don't really know, all we know is that it will be remastered one day, and that the work has begun...
let me correct that: -The Ibishu Pessima remaster - The Civetta Bolide remaster (if it's done yet) -The new car will probably be added -A freaking fridge -Maybe a map remaster -Maybe another existing car remaster -Probably a lot of new skins, wheels, engines, configurations, bodies... don't wind yourself up too much alright? - And a ton of other surprises that should clarify it i think?
https://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/page-1641#post-1348064 The devs already said it was gonna take longer than usual.
They said it more than 20 days after telling us that the Bolide remaster won't be released imminently
Time will tell... Anyway, that wouldn't shock me if they add the remaster this update, but if they doesn't, they'll probably release it on the next one, that's not so problematic
I've never said I'm hyped for it to begin with. What I stated was only a fact, that there's a somewhat huge release, (like it or not, but it will be "loud") that will make busy a lot of guys who could also play, stream or create content for BeamNG in the same time. Whenever that's Rockstar's production, it's always taking attention from other stuff, even my parents seen articles about it in newsfeed, and they never played those games! That thing is simply everywhere. GTA 3, VC, SA - that's not something you get every month, moreover it's something most gamers grew up with, even those who are mainly interested in sim-racing, FPSs, RPGs and so on. It will create a lot of fuss that will shove aside many other gaming subjects for just a brief moment. Doesn't matter that it's absolutely different game, I can count myself many content creators that will drop BeamNG.drive to do play through, reviews, comparisons, montages etc of those GTA's. Just because those games are different, doesn't mean there's no good bunch of GTA fans among us. Not everybody has that much spare time to spent on both, so they'll have to choose what to watch or play. - The same goes with funds of new buyers. That's where the connection is. So, is it a dealbreaker? No, not at all, after all that was one of my points, and I've never assumed it to be a big one. But is it worth noticing and considering? Absolutely - and that's what I've told and meant. To put it simply, in BeamNG's situation, you'd rather look for timeframe around holiday season and further from huge releases that could take a piece of attention away. As a company you want to maximize your income, so avoiding something that could decrease it even in a small amount is what you'd aim for. Attention in places like YouTube have significant impact on .drive sales, welp it's basically free advertisement.
I think it would be nice if the mall in West Coast USA had a fully visible interior and you can drive through it, that would be really funny.
i think they'd have to change some stuff to do that. move your camera through this window and see what's wrong here lol
Actual amd support would be great. The performance people are getting is abysmal. I can barely hit 60FPS on some maps and it’s a stuttery mess the entire way on an 800 dollar graphics card.
Unless the building is edited, there is a massive wall inside it lol. If you want a drivable mall, check out Los Injurus. Hopefully someone makes the Blues Brother mall, complete with the Oldsmobile dealership
no.. look above the building and see where the right side of the window leads... it's just a window that basically leads to the parking garage. no opposing wall.
