Well, the transmission tunnel probably means AWD for high-end trims, FWD for lower-end models. Also, the T-Series got the new hydraulic system in 0.26, but did not receive working interior shifters, nor openable doors. It’s definitely a candidate for a remaster, but it needs more than a remaster. It needs a new model, drivetrain, everything.
Yeah that's probably fair to say. Adjusted the wording. Sooner or later the T-Series should end up with a big remaster, but I wouldn't say the hydraulics really point to anything to say there, that was just new content that happened to only really apply to a few cases. Maybe the lack of openable doors though... I'll make a note of it.
Unfortunately. But, if it's a Bruckell, we can hope that someone crazy enough will swap the Supercharged 6.5 V8 beast of the Bastion in it!
I mean, if it comes with nitrous, anyone can on release. Agent_Y's engine swap mod has every vanilla engine.
i guarantee that at some point the Gavri; v8 will be shoved into the van thing whether it be official or mod
I can picture a T-series remaster/update alongside the minivan, as some sort of "freeway fillers" type thing. Throw in, say, a fully-finished Grand Marshall remaster, or an upgraded camper trailer, and that's my perfect summer update. Regarding prewar cars from a few pages before, I think that BeamNG is the perfect place for one. BeamNG physics would make for very authentic rides; there's all sorts of weird engine styles and interesting old technology unseen in any other cars in the game; They'd be fun to crash because of all the little pieces that can fly off, as well as the general lack of safety; Abundance of potential bodystyles on 1 chassis for the devs and modders to pick from; Mechanically and aerodynamically simple to avoid pushing the physics engine when the car is at its limit (and also a simpler car means less dev headaches); and also all the reasons other people mentioned before me. I agree they may look out of place if they spawn in traffic. Put some skins that advertise historic wineries or wedding venues, that could help. I see things like that occasionally. I also see prewar hot rods pretty much just as often as any other pre-muscle classic car archetype, such as real analogues to the Bluebuck, Burnside, or Miramar.
Having a solid rear axle on a minivan seems out of place, especially in a modern one, and it also seems like a waste to not make it powered.
It definitely does but the floor seems way too flat to have any sort of driveshaft run under or through it. Possibly could be like one of those plastic undertrays on new cars but even then it seems a little bizarre
It would be so great to have bonneville salt flats version of the prewar car, so many variations can be done, I hope it is down in the drain for future addition
