You could replace it's intact model for a broken model, maybe with just some particle effects. I have seen this Reddit post a while ago where some kid made a smashable fence without using jbeam and only some lua (I don't understand much about modding, but I assume he set up a trigger that replaces the fence's model for a pre-made broken fence model, I also don't know if this system is scale-able to a map this size) https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamNG/comments/18n0j4m/destructible_objects_not_using_jbeams/
This map is incredible, aside from some hungry curbs and road transitions it is awesome. I highly recommend it.
Hey, I am having an issue with the map. I tried to put this map on a BeamMP server and when entering for the first time, you can't get through the welcome message, I don't know if you are going to fix this since it is a BeamMP + Fairhaven issue but just letting you know. - Edit I have temporarily fixed this by commenting out all mentions of the welcomeUI() function. Could maybe somehow check if you are playing BeamMP and make it false.
Someone knows why the game cap my gpu to only 62%, i have the fps unlocked. My specs: -Ryzen 5 5600 (in game usage 25%) -32 GB RAM -SSD 7TB -rx 6950 xt
The port I didn't even know I needed, didn't even think possible even. I bet one could easily fool someone for a brief moment thinking that it's some sort of Remastered version. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this map. Hopefully some less bumper-eating curbs, at least where there's repair stations and jumps. But I'm just happy that someone even bothered to do this in the first place.
Am I the only one that actually hated Most Wanted's handling? I loved Burnout Paradise's handling, I enjoyed Hot Pursuit's handling too. But when they released the next game, Most Wanted, it felt so trash compared to the other games. Cars are borderline uncontrollable and steer like crap. I'm always slamming into walls and stuff either because I'm not turning enough or I turn too hard. I even used a mod to make steering input direct (meant for wheels and stuff but work on other devices too), and that didn't help either. They didn't drift when I wanted them to and then didn't stop drifting when I wanted them to either.
it can get annoying when you chain a few dozen crashes in a row. But for me, I unfortunately didn't play any burnout game until Paradise Remastered. On the other hand I've sunk at least 100+ hours into MW2012 back when it released, and it was the first "brake-to-drift" game I experienced. So I probably look back at it with rose-tinted glasses a bit. watching videos in current day, I think your opinion on the handling is more common
There are mods for MW12 that remove the untoggleable V-sync which makes the game significantly more responsive and quite a fun experience. But I agree, the vanilla handling did not age well.
Same problem for me. My suggestion is that @Car_Killer please try using m0dsfire (0 is just for "o"), it has no download limit, just be quick when closing off extra tabs and you will be fine.
In my experience Vulkan makes BeamNG run slightly better, but spawning in multiple cars tanks performance like no tomorrow.
Right now? No. All code is made specifically to work for this map. It would need a lot of changes to make it feasible. If you want radio mod I recommend you checking this https://www.beamng.com/resources/zeit-radio-the-zeidio.22603/ or https://www.beamng.com/resources/stereo-system.17581/
How did you got it working? you haven't created an account, so you probably dont have a subscription either? what did you do?
They complied and took down mods, otherwise they could face legal trouble with a 72-billion dollar company
