    Akron Motor Speedway

    A fictional Speedway located at Akron's Fulton Municipal Airport.


    Features
    • 2 Miles (3.21 km) of High-speed track
    • AI support (not very good, but better than before)
    • AI crafted Pit lane
    • New Sky with Tod (+ daylight cycle with dynamic lights)
    • Dynamic Lighting (lights are off during daytime and on at night)

    Track Info

    2.0 mile quad-oval
    Long straights: 2640 feet (1/2 mile)
    Short straights: 528 feet (1/10 mile)
    Turns: 1056 feet (2/10 mile)
    Straights banked 3°, Turns banked 12.5°
    40 feet wide


    Issues
    • Potential Issue with AMD Graphics cards (can someone confirm or deny this please)
    • A few missing textures/materials fixed 21/8/19
    • Terrible AI

    If you want to change, fix or generally edit this your free to do so and I encourage you to upload it to this thread.


    OTHER NOTES

    AI needs to be set to in lane to follow road directions in pit-lane and racetrack
    I recommend AI Risk to 2

    If you have an issues where it does not show in the level selector, but does show in mod list.
    Unpack the mod in-game (through the mod list) and that should work.

    I'm so happy to see old maps get re-done, especially for AI. I know you said it isn't the best, but before I get to try this out, just wondering, what is the weak point for the AI in this map? maybe the turns?

    Yeah it's the corners which it doesn't like

    I can have a look into it but I don't know if it's still on the forum

    It's still there. Remember to enable Mesh Culling if you do choose to re-upload it, it appears to be disabled by and gives off a pretty big performance hit.

    With the AI updates in 0.12 I hope that the AI will work better, but not sure yet.

    For Some Reason The Map Dosen't Show Up In The Maps Selction Menu For Me.

    I Mean That When I Set The Ai To Random. It Dosen't Work.

    So you press AI Random and the AI doesn't move at all?

    If that's the case then try redownloading the mod or uploading the game log.

    If the AI is going the wrong way then you need to set the game to have in lane set to "ON"

    Yes, I took the .zip, and put it in documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods
