    Here we go...

    Prologue:
Long ago, on a island far far away, laid a old village, where people used to work and build itty bitty cars. One night, a lone meteor struck across the sky, and landed in the towering mountain in the centre
    image.jpeg

    Chapter One:
There was a big red brick building, there, a father and his two sons made tiny cars, one day, a very special car was made
    image.jpeg
This car had a special colour, the sons where happy with it, in fact, one of them was chosen to drive it through a obstacle course to see how special it was
    image.jpeg
Zoom! The little car went through the track faster than any tiny car before it. The father was delighted by this news, and he gave the car to one of his sons, as the car seemed to be connected to the island. That night, one of the sons was with the tiny car, and believed that this car could challenge a mean bully, who rules the hill
    image.jpeg
The father believed in the son, and told him that the little car could beat the big mean car on the top of the hill, even though many others thought it was foolish

100,000/10. This is both incredibly hilarious and a perfect summary of the events in both the prologue and Chapter 1. I absolutely love the art style that you have with these pictures - very cartoony and simple, which allows for the big things (in this case, the Pigeon and the island). In fact, it's...almost beautiful in its incredible childishness.

Yes, very, as request of non readers, I have commenced a story book edition of the novel, summarized more than a CliffNotes read

I've added your versions of Chapter 1 and the prologue to the OP, just in case people want a more visual way of learning about the events of the story. I hope you don't mind.

There definitely needs to be an T-Series in an upcoming chapter....
(Make it some redneck or some hunky trucker that has a name like Gary or Nicholas.)

Well, today's your lucky day, as there will be a few T-Series trucks in Selva Rocosa and one mentioned in Chapter 2.

Wha... what is that Pigeon? He slid through the corners faster than should have been possible!
Did... did I just witness the ghost of a Pigeon who died here?

Well, admittedly, the first T-Series won't be making a major (or large) appearance in Chapter 2, but it will still make an appearance.

You've caught on to my inspiration, I see?

Yes, this was inspired by Initial D when I wrote the first version of this story almost a year ago. Admittedly, that version was absolutely terrible (and I won't be revealing it yet, because it'd spoil several key events in this version of Selva Rocosa).

Also, for anyone who wishes to have their mods in any of my stories, I am most looking for any vehicle made before 1970 (preferably between 1955 and 1962 or before 1950), as I have a story set in the pre-motorsports-park version of WCA in 1969 that I would like to write about. As of right now, I only have six or seven options for this story (Burnside and its modded variants, Miramar/Miramar Z Coupe, '58 Satsuma, Barstow, Eris Coucal, and possibly the Fintray Roadster and '50s T-Series from Peter Beamo's T-Series Parts mod if the Fintray gets finished and the '50s T-Series receives proper round headlights), and most of them are either American or Japanese. I understand that the lack of '50s and '60s vanilla cars may detract some people from modding '50s and '60s cars in general, but I'd really like to hold off on this story until there are at least ten or twelve different vehicles from before 1970.

If anyone wants to make a 1969 Belasco, feel free to, but you are not required to do so for me to write the story. 1969 Belasco, in my opinion, wouldn't have been much different from modern Belasco in terms of size, so all I'd need to do is just re-imagine it within the story to transform it into a period city. The only major changes between modern Belasco and its 1969 counterpart would be the lack of the motorsports park in the 1969 version (which was built in 1971), and that's an easy workaround.

    How about Aurica Heron?

Edit: How about a Lotus Cortina?
(if i can finish it in time)

The Heron's outdated - if it does get fixed, I'll absolutely use it.

Also, I could perhaps use something like a Lotus Cortina or Ford Anglia in that story. However, I'd like to know a few things about this Cortina.

*Do you plan on releasing it publicly? If not, I won't consider it.

*Have you made the model yourself, gotten permission to use it, and/or bought it from a website? If not, I won't consider it.

*Will you be changing the model so that it doesn't look exactly like a Lotus Cortina? I don't mind if it looks very close to a Cortina (the devs took a TJ Wrangler, changed the grille, tail lights, interior, and a few other details, and called it a day with their own Hopper; likewise, the Wentward/T-Series are surprisingly similar to the New Flyer D40LF/'87 International 9300), but if it's exactly 1:1, I most likely won't consider it. (Even the Satsuma isn't a 1:1 of the '58 Datsun 210, and that thing is supposed to be a replica of the Datsun in practically every way.)

*How close will it be to dev quality? I don't mind a few issues here and there, but if it's lower than something like the Kashira/Vendetta, then I most likely won't consider it.

If you can answer most or all of those questions with a "yes", then I'd absolutely include it in the 1969 story.

Yeah, it's also partially inspired by The Love Bug and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the book, not the movie, along with a bit of Lord of the Flies. However, it still is mostly its own unique story.

The big thing to have for the '69 Belasco spin-off would be a vintage pickup, preferably either something from '65-'70 or '48-'51.

Of course, a riding mower from any era would help with a different story project - but that's top-secret at the moment.
