An almost identical replica of one of the old icons of Italian motoring: the Alfa Romeo 155.

  1. V6 Ti DTM and some major updates

    Hi everyone.

    I'm here to release the final update of the Alfa Romeo 155 mod (I will update the mod, of course, if needed to get this to work due of some future major BeamNG.Drive updates or some minor tweaks). I've been working on this for one year straight (due to some major life changes and due to my full time job) so that all the details, from the least important to the most important, are clearly visible, fixing hopefully all issues and improved the overall model quality: You can find the full changelog below:
    - 2.5 TI V6 DTM variant fully implemented (I got the model from LIE2EYE Sketchfab user - https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ac-alfa-romeo-155-v6-ti-free-9ddd7288e623478685443145e0705cdf - with Creative Commons license) with 3 skins (Alitalia skin https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/67-alitalia-alfa-romeo-155-v6.5714/);

    - Fixed car body skins system, so that each variant type (Street, GTA and DTM) has its own set of skins;
    - Added dirt details to the car windows, to get more depth/relief;
    - Improved the front side of the car, with real-world headlights, grille and Alfa Romeo triangle;
    - Improved the rear side of the car, by reducing the bumper height;
    - Modified the front lower vents of the GTA and Superturismo variant using the DTM model as reference;
    - Added "visual depth" to the hood, trunk and door grooves;
    - Improved wipers LUA script (thank you to MiataLover and his script https://www.beamng.com/resources/animated-wipers.28237);
    - Improved custom_actions handling;
    - Fixed and cleaned up several car model materials;
    - Added nodes to the antenna and taxi sign, so that they can interact with the environment;
    - Fixed physical mirrors according to the 0.32 patch changes;
    - Improved door handles to get'em identical to the original ones;
    - Reduced vertex number of several meshes;
    - Removed some unused UVMaps;
    - Improved overall aerodynamics of each variant, making it as realistic as possible (scaling them according to the 2.5 V6 Ti DTM variant);
    - Added "Carabinieri" and "Automedica" skins to the road variant and "Totip" skin to the GTA variant;
    - Added a second type of rims to the GTA Superturismo variant (to match the "Totip" skin);

    - Added further details to the street variants interiors (such as axes, street cones, medical kit and so on);
    - Added an animated crankshaft system;
    - Added a custom radio system;
    - Tweaked burn efficiency to get realistic results;
    - Tweaked overall node weights, so that each variant weight matches the one indicated in the info files;

    Hoping i'm doing a grateful thing to the BeamNG.Drive community, I take this opportunity to thank everyone.
