HIROCHI ACCENT (2026+)
Global Compact Platform & Tons Of Powertrains
EARLY ACCESS / BETA RELEASE - EXPECT BUGS
UPDATED THUMBNAILS ARE ARRIVING SOON
REQUIRED DEPENDENCY: You must install Arcanox Core for the powertrain and eCVT logic to work properly!
OVERVIEW
Welcome to the official release of the Hirochi Accent! After 2-3 months of intense development, 36 crashouts, and over 800 bug fixes, I’m excited to share this project with the community.
While based on Cherrier's FCV architecture, the Hirochi Accent is filtered as its own standalone vehicle. To avoid part conflicts and accommodate the massive range of custom components, including brand new screens, boxer engines, custom bumpers, unique body styles, and custom tech, it operates completely independently from the Vivace/Tograc.
This mod is currently released in Beta / Early Access so you guys can help test and report bugs. Development was slightly delayed due to personal vacations, so I decided to get this build into your hands early. The upcoming crossover variant, the Outland, will be included in the next major update!
THE LORE
In late 2024, Hirochi Motor Corporation partnered with the European automotive group Cherrier S.A. to codevelop a flexible, next-generation global compact architecture.
While Cherrier introduced the platform locally through the Vivace and Tograc, Hirochi engineers heavily re-engineered the platform for Asian, European, UK, and Australasian (TBA) markets. The result is the Hirochi Accent (and upcoming Outland crossover), a versatile lineup built to handle everything from barebones commercial fleets to high-performance RSi-T models.

RedlineWorksVersion: 1.1.0- 4/5,
Really fun mod! I’ve spent some time using the Hirochi Accent and there’s a lot to like. The amount of customization and different configurations is honestly impressive, and it gives you a lot of ways to build the car you want. The different powertrains and trims also make it fun to experiment with.
There are a few things that could use some polish, but overall it’s a really enjoyable addition to BeamNG. Definitely worth checking out if you like having lots of customization options. Great work! -
LichiVersion: 1.1.0- 1/5,
After an hour of testing most of the configs, im genuinly baffled how anyone gave this 5 stars, it just seems you started adding random content (some from others) to your mod without even caring if it worked at all, there are some parts that are so broken that i literally gasped… (that ute jbeam is genuinly nuts) Im not going to even go into the design (because its just almost a vivace...) but heres everything i found...
- The badge textures look miles worse than the sunburst, sbr or vivace ones, the normals look plain wrong
- The sport and eDTEC badge has weird normals and it looks completly different from any of the other badges, as if it wasnt oem
- The wheels arent correctly rotated so the lug bolts poke out thru random parts of the rims in some configs
- The configs force a plate design, the game is meant to automatically select one based on the map
- The hubcap's center section is visibly floating
- It has the vivace arsenic default image (dunno if you can change that tho)
- The EV sound always comes from the rear
Interior issues:
- Theres a trigger for the headlights in the middle of the steering wheel on RHD dash?
- The vehicles infotainment looks 100% vibecoded, kind of lame to use a robot to make stuff for you
- The redline doesnt change according to config, the screen always displays it at 7
- The dual screens have a completly different design language, especially on the combined "dual screen" interior option, that highlights it even more
- RHD interior doesnt have an engine start button, the LHD one doesnt work
- The dual screen interior has the dash textures very messed up
Body issues:
-The 3 door still has the textured gap from where the rear doors used to be
- The 3 door doesnt have any triangle collisions where the door is, meaning that things can go thru it without colliding
- The convertible body has shading errors everywhere, has holes in the trunk liner area and has fucked up uvs where the roof is cut off
- When you break the windows on the convertible the broken glass floats
-The rear doorcard in the 3 door and convertible looks horribly messed up, streched textures everywhere
- There isnt convertible specific suspension to account for the lost weight in the rear, so it is noticebly higher up
- The 4d body has messed up rear quarter panels that clip multiple times into the tailights
- The wagon variants front doors dont open at all
- The underbody cladding is clipping with the engine (mesh and nodes) causing stress and making the whole front end shake, especially the sport bumper is vissibly shaking all around, even in the EV configs it still shakes the entire engine bay
- No frunk? that makes no sense
- The rear wagon suspensión has a lot of camber, and if it compresses, it never goes back up to its original height
-The bumper with the absurdly massive grille (apart from looking questionable) has the bottom grille section with a lot of shading issues compared to the vivace E bumper, the top grille section isnt even transparent (engine would defenately overheat)
- There is a random trigger on the left side of the dash, it does nothing on the jdm configs
- the triggers arent flipped for the jdm configs
- The flat area on the ev bumper looks like its been hit with a hammer, its so uneven with those shading issues
- The reflectors in the weird base model headlight are modeled instead of textured, making this the highest poly dense área of the entire car, the blacked out part also just looks plain wrong, the glow textures also leave a lot to desire
- The roof of the ute looks mangled, the uvs are very fucked up
- did you even use the ute? it has a horrible jbeam shake that is imposible to not notice
- The ute tailights dont even have textures
- The cut off section still has hinges for the rear door, the front doors also dont open
- there is a hole in the underbody, you didnt model the termination so teres just an entire hole there
- the hirochi badge is clipping with the bed
- there is random pieces of roof and quarter panel and body just left there floating in the jbeam, this is genunuinly the worst jbeam ive ever seen in 5 years…
Engine issues :
- The config i tested (base model jdm) by default has a high performance radiator, which doesnt have a 3d model assigned to it
- You didnt modify the default location of the sunburst airbox so its clippig with the vivace engine bay
- The exhaust isnt correctly routed, so the sunburst headers and the vivace exhaust just end up floating
- The vivace transmission is literally inside of the engine, you didnt switch to using the FWD transmission model from the sunburst
- The engine hasnt been mounted correctly and has a lot of stress too
- The pulleys arent correctly placed, they are rotated 90º
- The diesel variant still has a throttle body and coil packs also this specific config does have the proper sunburst transmission but the halfshafts are missing entirely and the exhaust is clipping into it
- The EV engine has a non stopping whine even at idle, and the general whine is just awful
- The flat 6 engine looks like pure Chrome for some reason, is turned 180 degrees (the front of the engine is looking at the transmisión) the very clearly SBR designed turbo model is inside the frame and the exhaust also doesnt line up, the radiator tubes are also floating and the intercooler pipes go nowhere, the engine cant reach redline, it just stays at 7800 even tho you set the redline at 8000
- Sometimes if you launch the flat 6 it gets stuck in first gear
- As soon as you start accelerating the engine gets damaged
PS: dont go review bombing my own mods, thanks. I dont hate you, i just dislike whatever this mod is-
Author's Responsewell, i guess, thank you for taking over an hour out of your day to perform such an extensive unpaid QA audit on a free mid development community release!
While standard developer protocol for middev builds usually involves sending a concise DM or informing in a thread that was meant to feature bug troubleshooting, appreciate you taking the time to compile this exhaustive 50 point checklist directly on the public review page.
Since you went to such great lengths to analyze every single node and texture, im gonna address a few key points from an actual technical and engineering perspective.
No frunk complaint is a bit subjective. IRL automotive platform engineering (especially on dedicated EV architectures and hybrid conversion setups like modern Toyota/Lexus and Hyundai/Kia models) frequently packages the HV inverter, BMS and engine bay crap directly under the front hood space. The lack of a frunk on this configuration is intentional lorefriendly packaging, not an error.
about stylistic directions, technical points, and creative design choices such as digital UI dashboard language, dual-screen layouts, and the stuff regarding 'vibecoding' aesthetics are subjective artistic directions, not technical bugs. Conflating personal design preferences with mechanical defects isnt QA it's just personal taste unfortunately.
The minor visual artifacts you meticulously documented, such as accessory pulley rotations, badge normal map tweaks, and trigger alignments are standard early iteration polish items. They have been logged directly into our bug tracker and will be cleaned up in the upcoming v1.2 patch.
Regarding Your postscript, there was no need to add that defensive plea at the bottom begging me or anyone not to reviewbomb your own mods. Leaving a scathing 1 star hit piece while simultaneously asking for immune status on your own work displays an interesting double standard, but rest assured, no one is going to target your releases. because i prefer to focus on building projects rather than tearing down other people and their creations!
Thanks again for the free bugtesting labor! the v1.2 patch notes will effectively render this essay obsolete, but your efforts saved us plenty of testing time. Enjoy the update!

GrantyPewVersion: 1.0.2- 4/5,
Decent mod,
I like a couple designs but the models definitely need some work because they are pretty messy.
A few things i noticed are that the roof just gets cut off on the convertible models, dashboard is messed up on the configs with the big screen and that on the utes config, the mesh behind the door just ends with no panel sitting behind the door-
Author's ResponseNoted, thanks :D
-
Ludvik2011Version: 1.0.2- 5/5,
I love this mod, content is all great, but i think it would be cooler if the headlight design was slightly different from the cherrier one, ik its a rebaged car in the lore, but i just think that it would look better. But overall great mod.
-
2010camryxv40Version: 1.0.2- 4/5,
pretty great mod overall, but here's a few bugs:
some eudm configs still have no previews (e.g. midline hybrid 3-door eudm)
the front race bumpers has no materials for some reason.
i'd also suggest usdm configs, and the base hid headlights look terrible for a modern car like this (please make better designs for them )-
Author's Responseyeah new headlights are coming and thanks for the feedback :p
-
thegaming11Version: 1.0.2- 5/5,
Nice and finally N/A engines! will you do a UTE with integrated bed? like a El Camino or a Australian Holden UTE?
-
Author's Responsehonestly, idk, it entirely depends on my modelling skills. don't see a no in that though
-
Mark MendozaVersion: 1.0.2- 4/5,
Pretty good. Only thing is that the triggers for the hood etc are at the wrong side. I wonder if there's an Ardente expansion
-
Author's ResponseThx for your feedback!
i did plan an ardente expansion but i don't have anything true to say!

-
ClyveeeVersion: 1.0.2- 3/5,
The gasoline/diesel, and hybrids don't work for me at all, only the EV's do, is there a fix for this? I want to try it but I can't drive the other variants
-
Author's Responsehave you downloaded the arcanox core? if not so, please dm me furthermore with your issue, i will do my best to help you. Have a nice day
