Experimental Rail Barge Terminal 0.1

What is it?
It's a tool to align and connect the Flat Top Barge to the end of a section of railroad track. It allows trains to be loaded on rail barges more easily.

Awesome! How do I use it?

1. Download the Rail Barge Terminal (this mod).
2. Use the World Editor to place the Rail Barge Terminal 1.429 meters above sea level on whatever map you like. This will place it at an ideal height to connect with the front couplers of the Flat Top Barge mod. The barge will connect to the flatter end of the terminal.
3. Run some railway track away from the thicker end of the terminal to wherever you like. Personally, I use the MRK Railroad Tracks.
4. If you need working railroad switches, I recommend this Railroad Switch.
5. Spawn a Flat Top Barge with some railroad tracks on the deck.
6. Couple the front of the rail barge to the terminal just like connecting a trailer to a car.
7. Get some train engines and railcars, such as the WLD FS30-2 or the Tanker Wagon.
8. Use the World Editor to carefully place the railcars.
9. Carefully drive the train onto the barge. Multiple barges can be chained together front-to-back to carry longer trains.
10. Disconnect the lead rail barge from the terminal, and float it to wherever you like.

Tips

• Because the barge is floating (it moves), trains must be loaded carefully. Don't load too fast or too slow. About 5 mph seems to work best.
• Track alignment is critical. They must be placed very precisely, like with millimeter precision. Otherwise, trains can derail.
