I’d like to suggest adding the ability to populate private multiplayer sessions with synchronized racing AI. When racing with a small group of friends, the tracks often feel empty and lack the energy of a real event. Allowing us to fill the remaining grid slots with AI opponents (similar to the systems in rFactor 2 or Automobilista 2) would instantly turn a 3 person cruise into a full scale race weekend. This needs to be a dedicated "Racing AI" rather than the standard traffic system. The bots should follow racing lines, attempt competitive overtakes, and be fully synchronized across the server so that every friend in the lobby sees the same maneuvers and incidents in real time. This is essential for practicing wheel to wheel racecraft and ensuring the competitive experience is consistent for everyone involved. Implementing this would massively increase the replay value for small groups and friend only communities. It bridges the gap between a physics sandbox and a complete racing simulator, making the multiplayer experience feel more professional, immersive, and populated, even when only a few people are online.
This is quite similar to my older thread (https://www.beamng.com/threads/mod-suggestion-ai-racer-group.108783/) - I hope they at least see your post if no one's really seen mine
