Man I hope this mod gets updated. It would be a shame if we lost such a good addon to the game forever.

Anyone know how to temporarily fix the mod ? like replacing a file with another car file.. just while waiting for the update.

A Plymouth Fury and An Oldsmobile Delta 88 are two different things, if you want @SergentFido to make a complete new car, that’s gonna take a while, so read some posts before you before posting something like this.

 

it's weird that the car looks like it can be used when i spawned it, but when i try to drive it, it doesn't even do anything.

Here we are guys, you can enjoy the mod and the addon pack again

I didn't had time to test all presets in depth, so please test and report any issue, so we'll prepare a new version with improved stuff, thank you.

I copy here the changelog so that it's more easy for you to check it.

Changelog :

- september 22th 2020 :

- Lua that made the cars crash at spawn were fixed, thanks to Thomatoes50

- Improved police lightbar glasses which were almost transparent after core game graphic changes



- Improved car glasses, green, blue and brown colors and details are more noticeable



Also improved the Caprice headlights glasses that are more detailled than before :



- added metallic paint specular map (thanks to car_killer), which is now on most of the configs.
It's a new skin called metal paint, and i had to duplicate some other skins to get them have the metallic paint too (No chrome, restored chassis, two tones, and so on...)



- Fixed and adjusted all colors, a lot of them where a bit weird after the graphical change update.



- Fixed the dusty and rusty engine skins that were shiny after the graphic changes. They are now matte again.

 

umm when i try to download the addon pack it says error

 

The download link for the add-on on the first page seems to lead to an error page

 

It's fixed now, you guys are too quick

I can update the link only when the post is released, so it takes 1 or 2 minutes, like on each update.

 

I'm so happy you fixed this, This was my favorite mod

 

Do you realize the power you've given me. I can now ram people in Multiplayer with a caprice and drive away just fine. Jokes aside, glad the mod is back.
